You did a very good job with this, fairly simple and easy to follow. I will say though, that there are parts were your camera has some pretty weird focus issues or something around 18:30. Maybe it was the camera, maybe because you were upside down? Beats me but great job!
Yo the battery cable and your angel eyes too come off w 2 clips connected to the air filter tray, no need to open up and drop the cables. Nice video, keep it "dirty nasty low"!
N🧊. I was wondering if you were gonna do the SAP delete and put the 90° elbow n you answered both. Didn’t know I needed a 2nd spacer tho now I need cop another for the other o2sensor 😂
Thanks for your vids. Great info. I just deleted my cats and installed performance headers on my 2003 e46 (325i). I noticed that when I was putting my engine mount back in it wouldn't quite fit because the headers were in the way. I was able to use a hammer and tap the plate down just enough for it to fit. But the header is sitting right on it. Is that normal? I don't remember if the cats were touching the mount or not.
+Jason I had to cut my exhaust flange, rotate it and have it re-welded because i was sent the 330/325i headers instead of the 328i/323i headers where the exhaust flange connecting the header to the rest of the exhaust is oriented differently. I had to cut and rotate so that the holes for the bolts match up. By exhaust leak, i meant that the headers were not yet connected to the rest of the exhaust piping. Just make sure you get the right header for your car, and you wont have to worry about this.
Hey guys who might answer this question? I expecting replace my headers but i don't wanna get a loud sound just looking for extra power as well possible... replacing headers only. could be too loud ?
catless header will be very very loud, only way to cut the noise down with catless headers is to keep your resonator and muffler on the exhaust system, so that means no straight piping your exhaust system
The o2 sensor bung locations were not ideal on mine, but they still fit. The welds are nice. I think its a hit or miss, since there's multiple sellers for these on ebay. I got mine from cali, would'nt recommend the ones from china.
You won’t need the secondary air pump if you have no cats
with not secondary air pump connected... check engine light say hello... 🤣

Hardly was a header install. Was mostly about removing everything else just to get to them.
Exactly what you need 🤣 if you need to watch him thread bolts in you shouldn’t be installing headers
@@masonspears2764Installing headers in the E46 is a PITA so, yes a full install explanation is necessary.

The best moment of this hard day!
"Dirt nasty low " I see the muscle vs tuner reference
Those wheels go hard
Do you have to unfortunately the engine bolts if your intaking catsless headers

The catalyst is e46 m54. I want to install bmw e60 M54. Is it the same ?will go without modification?
Did they line up with the exhaust well? Or did you have to force it to the side
Will these fit on my Honda Civic?
Great job 👌easy to understand and very detailed thanx🤩
LMAO at "dirt nasty low"
please name of the wheels? thank you!

Did you get a check engine light?

Are you still running these headers? If not how long did they last?
Did you already have the check engine light on bfor that?
How do you clear the codes when you do the block off plate for the secondary air system if you've already done it
EU2 performance tune.. Look up Kassel Performance.
21:06 why would you say that there is exhaust leak? where were you referring?

+BackyardWrenchin got it. Once more thing. Did you wrap the headers?
I didn't wrap mine, but its always better to wrap them.
+BackyardWrenchin why is it better to wrap them?
Less heat dissipation into the engine bay. That's always a good thing.
How many wumbos does this add?
+kevin mcihalkiewicz approx 25 wumbos
Where did you buy the o2 sensor replacement ?
Link on spacer u use for the 02
Did you take the whole mount out or just the plastic
What brand are those headers?
how does it sound? You should make a video
where did you buy the catless headers
How did you torque the exhaust manafold and did you used same same studs
where did. get the headers ? I have a 2000 328I ....what rims. are those

Very good Video Men. ..help me much to change my Headers! !
Yo cuz where in NY u from do you still got the e46
Does exhaust headers from e36 fit on e46?
how did you get rid of the check engine light?
i installed spacers before the post-cat sensor, so that the sensor is no longer in direct flow of the exhaust fumes, and that eliminated the cel
BackyardWrenchin interesting and this works for a BMW E46? And you had no further issues? I plan on doing same thing to my E46
no further issues
BackyardWrenchin where did you get the elbow spacer and also what brand of headers are they? eBay?
nice build, what are the numbers on those wheels & did you roll the fenders?
Anyone got a link for these
Is there a smell, and how would this compare to Statusgruppe?
Thank you!
Aloha!
Was the bolts(header to engine) hard to take off the stock header?
+Juan Rivera yea some were tough , be careful not to strip them
what wheels are those
are you able to pass obd 2 emissions with the defoulers and bungs?
+BarberKid Yep as long as the post cat sensors are far enough from the exhaust stream you wont get a check engine light and you will pass.
Any tips for getting the headers off the engine?
Use a bunch of spray lubricant, loosen slowly so you dont snap a stud that may be seized in there
How much for exhaust
What’s size wheels u running
And tires
For the rain tray
Thankkss amigo
What's the torque spec on the bolts?
good luck fitting a torque wrench, you would need to pull the motor
Were you able to pass emissions inspection with that header set up?
yes with o2 sensor spacers
