Skip and SAS had perfect chemistry on TV. More so than Shannon and Skip or SAS and…anybody else. Like I look up old first take videos all the time and it’s so much more genuine than what we get today.

I like both shows and watch both shows but I will always believe and choose SAS over Skip. I've never once questioned SAS reporting or what he says. I may not agree with opinion sometimes but I never have questioned his honesty or if he has made something up for views or whatever reason. Unfortunately I can't say the same about Skip.

As great as Sharpe is, he is funny, insightful, and is a good counter to Skip, people will never realize how great the chemistry between Stephen A and Skip really was. Skip and Stephen A were perfect together and they made modern sports talk shows/debate platform popular - there will never be a chemistry, dynamic, and on-air duo as iconic and memorable as Skip and Stephen A!

I loved first take but I really love and enjoy undisputed with uncle shay shay. When u made the switch to fox making undisputed and picking Shannon to be on there with u was and still is great. When u left espn skip I left with u I didn’t watch first take any longer. To this day I rarely watch first take and if I do I just started this yr. Undisputed hands down is 🔥 💯

Loved skip since cold pizza days! Back when he the hair all jazzed up. I was a casual fan in those days Steven A was definitely the match to light skips fuse because they were dynamite together! Fan of both and I watch first take and undisputed. Definitely takes the right pair to make good television. While I do think undisputed is more consistent because Shannon and skip don’t miss a lot of days I do think Steven A is the pinnacle of entertainment when he’s a his best. When he’s wearing the cowboy hat after a loss or when he’s lambasting kyrie for not playing and getting paid you can’t deny his talent! I actually don’t want them back together I’ll continue to enjoy all this good content

Why not do a cross over show once a month. First take debates undisputed. ESPN get to air first hr. FS1 air the second hr. Ratings would be nuts. Uncle Shay.. Steven A Smith and Skip.. this the part of business and contracts I hate. Because fans would love that. I literally watched first take everyday back then with those two, from beginning to end. No TH-cam clips. Just sitting thru 2 hrs and commercials, they were worth it

Shannon Sharpe is better than Stephen A. I started watching First Take when I was in college. I'd go to my 8:00am, grab a breakfast sandwich and hashbrown, head back to my dorm and watch First Take. It was my routine. Loved SAS and Skip together. I watched every morning. Initially when Skip left, I rode for First Take. Said I wouldn't even give Undisputed a chance. Since 2019, Undisputed has been my go to show, i barely watch First Take anymore, only if they have analyst i wanna hear from like Pat Bev or JJ Redick. It's because of Shannon Sharpe. I know there's nostalgia in old First Take with Stephen A and Skip, and I think First Take still has more diverse topics and better analyst (Tim Legler and Madd Dog can get lost though), but Shannon Sharpe is honestly a superior cohost to Skip than Stephen A. Shannon is funnier, has more insight, can speak from experience, more interactive with the Undisputed Community, stay current with the world and what we all are talking about on social media and all in all is just better than Stephen A. Especially now, Stephen A's grown full of himself, just look at the Max Kellerman situation, who is doing great on KJ and Maxx. No doubt Stephen A works hard, but Stephen A has brand recognition (thanks to Skip) and the ESPN machine behind him. But Shannon Sharpe is better and I'd hate to see him reunited with SAS at the expense of ending what he has with Shannon
