Put it here to check if I have a hug with each of you, guys. Thank you for always make me feel like I'm alive. Thank you for guarding me since 2005 when I found your album "A natural disaster". When I listened to it, I felt like you are the composers of my own feelings. Even though you made this piece about yourself. Thanks for following your heart, so that WE can see your new face that has been changed a lot since the very beginning. And it's still you, like a tree with roots in the Universe, and leaves that change every second of this being, and the trunk that was you from the very first day. Thanks for being with me when I was alone. Thanks for being with me when I wasn't. Thanks for being with me when I was meditating. Thanks for being with me and my family. For the time when you can listen music with your parents together and don't feel ashamed or shy. Thanks for giving me the energy in my dark days. Thanks for this light that always there whether I'm right or wrong. Thanks for being with me when my plane was taking off and, like I composed it again, impressed with that you released a video full of cloudscapes. Are we flying same directions? Thanks for encouraging me to study English. I hope, I can hug each of you with my full heart of love and peace. Otherwise, I send you good vibes all the time.
Above the clouds We flew to heaven Through the eye of the storm And into to the light I see you You're everywhere I go In everything I do I dreamed a thousand years Just to be here where everything is right Scrape those screamless skies Defy the limits and fly I see you You're everywhere I go In everything I do I see you You're everywhere I go In everything I do
According to Vincent himself, this one is his fave. I absolutely LOOOVE how emotionally moved Vincent is here! His ardent passion makes him incredibly sexy. I RARELY EVER crush on ANYone, least of all famous strangers. But Vincent's got such an exceptional vibe, it really draws one in. The entire band is nothing short of amazingly brilliant. Why Anathema is not more widely venerated is beyond me.
Definitely one of the best 5 live concert videos I've seen since Iron Maiden put out Live After Death on VHS in 1985 (also on DVD in 2008). I would have to think *hard* which 3 to include out of all my other favourites, though...
Beautiful song and performance, one of my favourites from Anathema. This band blew my mind as a teen, and its music kept surprising me in the best way throughout the years.
Truely amazing band in the way they have chosen their own musical path. Looking back I am really proud to have once shared the stage with these guys. This is musical beauty.
As you stroll through the meadows of the present, you can pick bouquets of crazy and improbable flowers, come back with sumptuous extracts from this sensitive and flayed musicians and recognize that you sometimes save time ignoring so much of these redundant & futile contemporary new-age music for gain in strength & serenity¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@PANJEAK you have no idea what you're talking about. There is no such thing as "easy prog rock." It's sad to be you because you can't identify beauty when it's right before you. Such a sad, sad existence you are.
I've been listening to real progrock like Yes, EL&P, Pink Floyd, King Crimson for half a century and I know what I'm saying, calling the band's music an "easy prog rock" :)
@@PANJEAK that's great for you. I have been doing the exact same. For certain, you could listen to that for 1, 000 years and still not know anything about music. Your opinion about what's "easy" or not is still uninformed, as all three of the bands you named as examples have had tragic sellout periods and therefore cannot be labeled as "real prog rock". I know what you're trying to push off, though, because you may not hear sweeping, swirling synths like Keith Emerson or Rick Wakeman used to play, but understand, that is stuff from the distant past and there's nothing "progressive" about that anymore. Sure those sounds are pleasing to the ears, but when you then have to consider albums like "Love Beach" (🤮), "90125" or "The Wall", there is *nothing* special about them whatsoever that Anathema hasn't done better. None of those old-timer bands have grown musically or personally. They all got stale with age. Even King Crimson got stale. The only band that matches Anathema in their musical growth is *Glass Hammer* which started out as an awful neo-prog group but became one of the most influential symphonic prog groups in existence. No one else but Anathema can claim that kind of ascension, especially since they started out as a grizzly growly "death doom" band. All this is one thing. I'll agree that Anathema can't really be considered the Pink Floyd of this age because Pink Floyd's main gimmick was usually about insanity or psychedelia in their first half, and completely self-absorbed Roger Waters memories in the middle, followed by completely commercial, sterile radio rock with David Gilmour. Whatever greatness Pink Floyd ever had is *long gone* . They were ahead of their time, yes, but only up until 1977. Yes fizzled out in 1980. ELP just slipped into obscurity by 1979. Each group having 10 years or less of fantastic output. Anathema is by no means "easy" if you're talking about time signatures. Every single album has material using odd time signatures, complex syncopation, alternate phrasings and more. But even without all this, what makes a song or album really memorable at all?? How complex it is? By no means. It's by how much a listener can connect with it. Sure, I "connect" with "Relayer" because that's just wild and cool stuff. And I listened to it so much that every note is burned into my brain. But there's still no sense of "ascension" at all. There's hardly any sense of personal exploration. Sure, Yes was a spiritual band, but to them, all spirituality is good spirituality but there's no personal component to it. To Jon Anderson, being spiritual can even mean writing super bizarre and weird lyrics like "A seasoned witch can call you from the depths of your disgrace; And rearrange your liver to the solid mental grace"... How in the universe is anybody supposed to relate to that? If anyone can, I would say they belong in the nut house. No, Anathema has transcended all of that, I would say. None of their material is as simple as a mere staccato piano rhythm (as in "Dreaming Light"). It is hard to accept that the stuff we LOVED when we had our youth is somehow no longer relevant in the same way after all our years. But even so, among a generation that seems empty-headed and nihilistic, Anathema is absolutely, positively a beacon in the night. And sorry this was so long. 😁
wszystko się zmienia. pewnie gdyby anahtema była dzisiaj taka sama jak kiedyś to pewnie byłyby zarzuty, że formuła się wyczerpała i nic nie zmieniają. nie dogodzisz...
This version is better than original. Anathema live is wonderful.
Holy sweet Jesus, what a performance. Its like Vincent is pouring his soul out when singing those lyrics.
Wow! Yeah!! I'm seeing it right now, and you're right!
Yes! I absolutely LOOOVE how emotionally moved Vincent is here! His ardent passion makes him incredibly sexy.
Anathema Roman Theater Plovdiv, the best marriage between a classical orchestra and a rock band of all time! Thanks also to conductor Manukyan.

Radiohead!!! Lifted.
No manches todo el concierto es bueno pero con one last goodbye se rifaron mil como canta la gente pffff
Anathema is a whole musical gender, not a band.
16 people disliked this....
To już nie jest ta Anathema co kiedyś. Teraz to jest komputerowa obróbka wokalu, przegłosy itp. Plastik.
