Dont use rectangle you can just use autolayout on your text

Yes, it can but most of the time we just add an overlay layer to it.

I know. It's not the best way of using Figma since it's not fully optimized for tablets.

You don't need MacOS for UI/UX Design. You can use Windows for that.
