Cat climbs a very big tree to catch a squirrel ! Epic Chase | Cat's Incredible Agility in Action

  • Fearless ninja cat takes on the challenge of catching a swift squirrel! It all begins when a daring squirrel, full of confidence, approaches the cat and starts making chirping sounds, as if trying to provoke the feline into a chase. The cat, with its sharp instincts and lightning-fast reflexes, immediately springs into action, launching itself up a massive tree in pursuit of its prey. The squirrel, however, proves to be just as quick and agile, darting up the tree with ease. The squirrel came very near to the cat making chirping sounds, to provoke him.
Despite the cat's best efforts, the squirrel's speed and agility keep it just out of reach. The cat's determination is impressive as it climbs higher and higher, but the squirrel's experience in tree maneuvering allows it to stay one step ahead. Eventually, the cat realizes that this chase might be in vain, but not before showing off its amazing climbing abilities. In a smooth and effortless motion, the cat climbs back down the tree, displaying the grace and agility of a true ninja.
The cat climbed up and climbed down the tree very easily ! The way the cat effortlessly climbs up and down the tree, navigating the heights with confidence, is a testament to its remarkable abilities.

My cat once caught a squirrel. Although I didn't see how he managed to catch it. I saw him staring at a squirrel under the tree and next thing he had a dead squirrel in his mouth. He was like a maniac for some time and din't let anyone go near him. Like he has done a lifetime achievement. This means squirrels can get in trouble too if they become too cocky and careless with cats.

Bill Klätsch I don't think they make those yet. :-) Unless you mean "interbreed" but I doubt it. The distress sound it made was definitely that of a chipmunk. Squirrels make a totally different distress sound and don't have stripes on their backs.

Not sure where this was filmed, but I would call that critter a chipmunk; it's in the squirrel family. Squirrels have double-jointed rear ankles, so they can ascend and descend with comparative ease, compared to the cats clumsy descent. Note the squirrel family predator alarm call: 1) Face predator, 2) vocalaize, 3) flick tail.

Haha squirrel humiliated a cat lol
Its simply because the cat is so jealous of squirrel its got more skills ,talent more flexibility than a fuking cat , and yea also they have better personalities than cat. Squirrels can run faster than cat where a cat can be lost to find a squirrel. Like in the video the cat couldn't climb all the way up , and squirrel is all up in the tree and embarrassing the shyt out of the cat. Most of the Cats are hatred.

a cat can be left in the wild alone and survive, unlike a dog. dogs needs a pack to survive.

    • @Banzybanz
      @Banzybanz 6 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Dogs have a natural tendancy to form packs as well. While a dog raised and fed by a human might struggle to survive without human help, there exist strays that can forage and hunt for food. If you released a dog into the wild, it will try to join a pack first.
Cats are excellent hunters, even the ones that are raised by humans.

You could see, near the end, when the cat suddenly looked down and thought to himself, "I think that I am getting a little too high here. It's time to get back on the ground." That is exactly what I would do as a child. You just climb up the tree, getting higher and higher and then, when you turn around and look at the ground, you suddenly realize how high you are and decide it's time to get back on the ground.

I'm guessing that the squirrel was trying to lure the cat away........maybe away from babies, otherwise it would have run for cover. Just a guess.

wrong guess. They do this to humiliate other animals on purpose. Hard to believe but i've seen it enough times with dogs too. The squirrel learn this from quarreling with other squirrels.

Either it was doing a warning display to guard it's babies and warn it off
or most probably it was displaying how agile and fantastic it is in its chosen environment by displaying to the cat that the tree is it's territory .
The cat is also testing how somethings are just not worth the chase
    especially an egocentric chipmunk
