edit: per request, quick translation: sib tells gene that their relationship isn’t interfering with his job at all. he doesn’t understand why they must care about what the staff say (refer to the previous highlight for context, but they basically tell sibgene to stop making their relationship obvious). gene tells sib that he should be paired with aoey, not him, and that this is just the consequence of being a celebrity. he doesn’t want sib’s career to be affected. sib tells him that he never cared about his fame, because he only auditioned for the series for gene. if it’s going to cause problems with their relationship, then sib doesn’t want to be a celebrity anymore. he wants to terminate his contract after the series finishes airing. gene doesn’t want that bc the termination fee is expensive and sib is throwing away his financial security and everything he has worked for, basically. sib says the money doesn’t matter because gene is worth more to him, so as long as he gets to be with gene he’s willing to pay anything. sib asks if gene is willing to let people misunderstand that he’s dating aoey instead of gene. sib says gene always tries to please everyone and cares about their feelings instead of caring about sib’s feelings. gene replies that because he cares about sib, this is why he has to do this. sib reminds gene that they made a promise to go through all their big conflicts together. gene says that that’s easier to do if they were in a fairy tale, but because this is reality, this (breaking up) is the best thing they can do. sib tells gene not to cry and begs him not to leave as he holds him, but gene tells him that it should just end here and walks away.

I'm glad the breakup scene is not over silly cheating assumptions like other bl stories. It kinda has some sense and maturity to it. A lot is at stake on Nubsibs end, Gene doesn't want him to face brutal fans and end his career. Still hurts to watch.

May I disagree with your statement about the sense and maturing part. In my opinion and experience, the more mature your relationship the stronger it will become. To break up over other people's opinion will not be a factor. When a relationship becomes mature, the only thing that can break it up is the absence of love itself... In this scene, it shows us how fragile their bond at the beginning of a relationship and it does makes sense. They will not get affected this much after a year or two, but at the moment they are still young and care too much about how other's opinions matter in their relationship. And in this case, breaking up seems necessary, when they are not ready to share what they feel with other people then it means they are not ready to be in a relationship. No matter how much you love a person, if you can't deal with other people then it means you're not ready. IT is okay that's a part of growing up. You are right about it does hurts to watch... hiks.. I wish someone out there made a BL series with more mature characters... but then.. it wouldn't be this interesting. hehehe,... Growing up is the most important chapter in everyone's life. It can break you or make you. Hope Episode 12 will have a resolution so we won't hurt for too long... Sorry about my rant, hope you get the point.

they were brought into the office and were asked to stop seeing/interacting with eo for the sake of the show and fans. Sib got angry cause he doesn't want to stop seeing gene and threatened to terminate his contract which would cost him a lot of money. Gene ends up agreeing to do whatever he is told to and leaves the room. In this scene Gene says to Nubsib that he cant just end his career like that and much less pay the termination with his savings... Sib tells Gene he doesn't care about his career the only reason why he became an actor in the first place was because of Gene but ultimately Gene says it would be better to breakup.

Not really, but sometimes we do stuff in the moment and when we look back on it we realize it wasn't the right thing to do. Gene was suffering a lot too and ofc this relationship and the decisions can't be perfect cause it is a series after all and its human nature to make mistakes too. This twist is realistic people succumb under pressure and try to run away and Gene is not weak for it.
I don't know what is going on but...don't let go sib 😭😭😭 Don't give up ...tries to reason with him. Tell him he's the most important. Tell him that you love him and that nothing else matters 💗💗💗💗

This is one of the best BL series to come out of Thailand so far this year. The story, the direction and the acting are all excellent. The two leads who have great chemistry are simply amazing in their roles.

I just watched this 11th episode and I cried a lot at the end of it. I'm a little angry by Gene's decision even if I understand it. But Nubsib's decision and reaction are tearful because he loves Gene so much.
