THEE WAS HOPE

THEE WAS HOPE
Often does it develop?
Young set minds in an envelope
Never too sure how to intercept,
The living still finds ways to accept.
Hope may lose it's way,
And motivation sent away;
Still you, inspirationally appear,
Till my griefs disappear .
Neither a deity's glow
Nor the first snow
Can compare to satisfy.
The core in me was a note
And till I saw stays mute
Even does it shutters
Go on to mimic utters
As long this life gives
It takes, fine as peace lives.
