OMG I traded TUP on that particular day and ended up losing as my entry was quite late which was like near the top and when i tried to exit, couldn't exit as there were a lot of sellers at that point in time while the price dropped back. Ended up bag holding the losing stock until now and over the days the losses became bigger. Really regretted for not taking the small loss earlier.

When it moves that quick up it can't sustain most likely they're trapping in buyers that's why you can't be greedy once it started to hit resistance get out take your money and go trade something else. I've done this as well waiting for a higher high and it reversed for a major loss. Thanks humble trader for showing your live trade.

I rembember AMSC, I traded this that day, and it was around 11am (GMT +3, istanbul time) in my time zone when the premarket open Eastern time.
🏎️💨 very honest valuable lesson! Thx for sharing, because I know how terrible it feels, being 800 up and left couple seconds later 400 poorer, like a drowned poodle. What helps me, is to anticipate the upcoming situation. Like an inner briefing, it’s scalping, it’s fast, be alert, in and out basta, or pre-set an TP.

Huge volatility on your market compared to ASX
This was a good tutorial on your trading day. Good lessons on both the long and short. For the long, it doesn't appear that you had put a stop in place to protect your gain. Maybe there wasn't enough time since it moved so quickly? These live trading sessions are really valuable to a beginner like me.
Have you tried using your strategy on the futures market like Nasdaq futures?

Your videos are great! I'm always learning a lot. A question: how you can filter the stock that got a big buyin volume in the last minute before close?
Its interesting you were embarrassed by holding too long on the TUP trade, saying when you're up 0.40 you should at least cut some of your position. But on the AMSC short trade, you were up almost 0.80 the first time it dipped to 14.40s and didn't scale any out. Then it went all the way back over 15 and you were red for a bit. Seems fortunate that it ended up dropping back to the low 14s and eventually sub 14 for you to profit. Glad it worked out anyway!

$AMSC was hard to borrow, I made some bucks on puts... I don't mess w/ trying to locate shares... also, there was some sort of rumor of a pending gov order (that apparently didn't materialize)
I had to hold 2 or 3 days - I forget - ... perhaps shorting is easier in Canada (could very well be true)
also, traded $TUP lol... seems like these trades only come around every few days
