Elaine Stritch was and is one of the greats of Show Business. I wish that more of the 'pop' culture knew more about her. A true Broadway Baby and night club performer. But I guess you can't burn the candle at both ends. She was happy in her career and nobody did it better. Rest peacefully Elaine and God bless your soul.
This woman is an icon ! Talent and wisdom beyond measure ! Curious since this was her 88th birthday celebration and we know that she died at 89 did you guys see her before her death I’ve always wondered because I feel that she had a real sweet spot for your program and for both of you
I read a biography about her recently that was in the Library, and she later thought that moving back to Michigan was a mistake. She missed the hustle and bustle of New York...
It was pretty clear to me when I saw this show the first time, that Elaine must have some personal news regarding her health, going back to Detroit completed the circle. She tells of the event of moving to New York at age 18 at the train station with her parents . Returning completes the circle. Pure Elaine.

Michael Riedel is SO RUDE he’s such a nobody - who does he think he is to speak to Elaine like that???
God, she was tedious . . . .
Why did everyone not know she was going home to die?
