My 14 yr old is about to make a lava side table. We plan on using burnt wood and lights and epoxy. We ordered your deep pour. What do we need to put on the wood to keep the bubbles out before we pour and then what is the top coat we can put on to seal and shine it.
We recommend brushing a thin coat of the epoxy onto the wood for this purpose. You can use the deep pour, but using a quicker-setting epoxy, such as the PRO system for 2cm, would be more efficient in terms of time spent. www.epodex.com/en/product/pro-system/?1=Transparent-colourless-(clear) If you want the table to remain glossy, you can leave the epoxy as it is after pouring.
Nice 👍
