I have a short story my self. One of my classmates who I didn't like at all, had these shoes that when you slide them on the floor made this super annoying sound that just made you rip your ears. I told him to stop and he asked why so I just said "because it's just like your voice, annoying." Idk why but he was taken aback.

There's once during recess time, a bully came to me and teased me. She took my pencil and lifted it. Since she is a lot taller than me, I couldn't reach her other hand which is lifting my pencil up. I tried climbing on chairs to get it, but she ran away to other place of my class and still lifting my pencil. I told her to give it back, but she teased me for being short. The bell rang and I knew that I needed that pencil to write the lesson our teacher assigned us. I immediately headbutted her stomach and she crouched in pain and I immediately grab my pencil. Then, I told her "Call me short and bully me however you want, but you are shorter than me when you crouch." I got back to my seat and it felt so good. The next thing that happened was she reporting all that happened to the teacher. The both of us were forced to apologise to each other. I don't regret what I did. An advice for short people.

I was in a spelling bee at my school and there was this other participant that would talk a lot during the whole thing. He was known for being arrogant. The teacher announced the word that we were suppose to spell and he found this difficult so he went, "Hold on miss I gotta search it on Google." and he pulled out his phone. I replied, "How are you gonna search it if you don't now how to spell it?" a moment of silence passed before the teacher muttered "b u r n" and then the whole class went off. Won 3rd place ✊
I don't think it's really considered a "good" comeback, but it was an instant one so I like to give myself a bit of respect for it. On a camping trip, we were all situated into cabins. 3 male cabins, 3 female cabins. A lot of people were sneaking into other cabins, ding-dong-ditching, stealing, and overall just being annoying to other people at camp. One time, whilst chilling in the top bunk by a window in which a boy named James was standing at, he said to me, "I'm going to ding-dong-ditch you lot throughout all of camp, and I betcha I won't get caught." To which I instantly replied, "If you ding-dong-ditch us, I'll make sure your ding-dong ditches you." Still proud of it now, even though it was such a basic and childish response. Best part is, people were indeed ding-dong-ditching us, however it was never him. Perhaps I scared him off?
Last year at school, we were having a debate (our class had to defend the environment and the class above had to defend the people destroying the environment). It wasn't obligatory since it was the end of the year so in my group were only 5 people and on the other group there 10 (we were outnumbered). At one point a friend said something like "we would apriciate if you would stop polluting so much!" And someone of the other group said something like: "well we don't care what you say, so we'll carry on doing our thing!" And at that point, I was pissed! So I answerd with: "And I don't remember when I asked for your opinion! Now shut up and DO AS YOU WERE TOLD! >:(" you could hear the hole room shout" OOOOOHHHHHHH! DAMN! and other stuff like that... best day of my school life! :)

Delayed comebacks are a good thing because with practice and repeation you can shorten your time to the point where you can come up with a comeback at that moment. Start with saving the quip you came up with and use it for a future argument.

Everyone in that class silenced, trying to process what I said. Then it clicked to them, and one girl was like OOH, then the others started to laugh. Jessica seemed to be amused by what I said, and laughed it off. Btw, this girl didn't really intend to insult me, she's just that type of person that jokes a lot. We're great friends now. There was also some other guy that was older than me and said all sorts of vulgar stuff to me. Collection of some of my comebacks to him: • He was vaping and let out a puff of smoke in my face because we were the only two in the hallway. I rolled by eyes and closed my locker. "Dang, guess I'll have to go tell the principal now," I said, walking in the direction of the office, which was in the same direction of the girl's bathroom that I was actually going to. "Wait, are you seriously telling on me?" (He actually sounded kind of scared, because you can get in serious trouble for that here and it probably would've caused complications with his scholarships and stuff.) I turned back and smirked. "No. I could honestly care less." Then I casually turned and pushed open the door to the bathroom and disappeared. I'm a very shy person and that's why he messed with me all the time, so that dramatic exit is, like, still the highlight of my entire school career. • He was cussing and saying some vulgar stuff to me again. "You know, you're cute and all, but that mouth of yours kinda ruins it." He stopped and looked at me. "...You think I'm cute?" I just shrugged and said, "Well, I would if you didn't talk like that." He stopped with the vulgar comments for that day lol. • Not sure if this one is considered a comeback, but it was a decent roast in my book. He made a comment about having muscular arms and small legs, and I asked him if he skipped leg day. He laughed and said yes.

I have one story. There was this one guy in my class who troubled every one and was really rude. Her comment about the professor reminded me so much of my high school maths teacher. Everyone has always said he's really scary and strict and mean and a lot of people are scared of him. Well I finished high school a few months ago and he ended up teaching me maths for the full 5 years (as well as like 15 other people then the other half of the class he had taught for 3 years). Anyway our last lesson ended up being with him and he had prepared a THREE PART SPEECH to tell us as well as made a cake for us all. I was in a spelling bee at my school and there was this other participant that would talk a lot during the whole thing. He was known for being arrogant. The teacher announced the word that we were suppose to spell and he found this difficult so he went, "Hold on miss I gotta search it on Google." and he pulled out his phone. I replied, "How are you gonna search it if you don't now how to spell it?" a moment of silence passed before the teacher muttered "b u r n" and then the whole class went off. Won 3rd place ✊

I don't think it's really considered a "good" comeback, but it was an instant one so I like to give myself a bit of respect for it.
On a camping trip, we were all situated into cabins. 3 male cabins, 3 female cabins. A lot of people were sneaking into other cabins, ding-dong-ditching, stealing, and overall just being annoying to other people at camp.
One time, whilst chilling in the top bunk by a window in which a boy named James was standing at, he said to me,
"I'm going to ding-dong-ditch you lot throughout all of camp, and I betcha I won't get caught."
To which I instantly replied,
"If you ding-dong-ditch us, I'll make sure your ding-dong ditches you."
Still proud of it now, even though it was such a basic and childish response.
Best part is, people were indeed ding-dong-ditching us, however it was never him. Perhaps I scared him off?

At one point a friend said something like "we would apriciate if you would stop polluting so much!" And someone of the other group said something like: "well we don't care what you say, so we'll carry on doing our thing!" And at that point, I was pissed! So I answerd with: "And I don't remember when I asked for your opinion! Now shut up and DO AS YOU WERE TOLD! >:(" you could hear the hole room shout" OOOOOHHHHHHH! DAMN!

Delayed comebacks are a good thing because with practice and repeation you can shorten your time to the point where you can come up with a comeback at that moment. Start with saving the quip you came up with and use it for a future argument.

Some girl *with the same name as* *me* saw me, and said something along these lines in a dramatic tone.
''Omg Jessica, (not my real name) It's been a long time no see. You're really old Jessica, no wonder why you look dusty.'' Then Immediately I responded in a sympathetic tone
'' Hey, stop talking to yourself.'' Everyone in that class silenced, trying to process what I said. Then it clicked to them, and one girl was like OOH, then the others started to laugh. Jessica seemed to be amused by what I said, and laughed it off.
Btw, this girl didn't really intend to insult me, she's just that type of person that jokes a lot. We're great friends now.

I remember one time where I actually said something funny for once in my life. My 6/7 period class are all really comfortable with each other. We’d grown up together and we’re all chill friends. One time my friend asked this girl that I got on my nerves a lot if she had lotion. I immediately responded, “does she look like she has lotion.” I honestly didn’t know where that came all of the sudden lol. Since the class was pretty small everyone heard me and started laughing. (Y’all know that feeling when the WHOLE CLASS laughs it amazing) Anyways, my teacher didn’t hear me so she was confused why everyone was suddenly laughing. When another student explained it, even she started laughing. But of course trying to be professional she said “why would you say that” still smiling. • He was vaping and let out a puff of smoke in my face because we were the only two in the hallway. I rolled by eyes and closed my locker. "Dang, guess I'll have to go tell the principal now," I said, walking in the direction of the office, which was in the same direction of the girl's bathroom that I was actually going to. "Wait, are you seriously telling on me?" (He actually sounded kind of scared, because you can get in serious trouble for that here and it probably would've caused complications with his scholarships and stuff.) I turned back and smirked. "No. I could honestly care less." Then I casually turned and pushed open the door to the bathroom and disappeared. I'm a very shy person and that's why he messed with me all the time, so that dramatic exit is, like, still the highlight of my entire school career.
• He was cussing and saying some vulgar stuff to me again. "You know, you're cute and all, but that mouth of yours kinda ruins it." He stopped and looked at me. "...You think I'm cute?" I just shrugged and said, "Well, I would if you didn't talk like that." He stopped with the vulgar comments for that day lol.
• Not sure if this one is considered a comeback, but it was a decent roast in my book. He made a comment about having muscular arms and small legs, and I asked him if he skipped leg day. He laughed and said yes.

Back when “did I ask” was rlly popular whenever I said something people would say “did I ask” so eventually I had enough and basically stopped talking (except to my friends) and some people in my class asked if I was ok so I said “did. Her comment about the professor reminded me so much of my high school maths teacher. Everyone has always said he's really scary and strict and mean and a lot of people are scared of him. Well I finished high school a few months ago and he ended up teaching me maths for the full 5 years (as well as like 15 other people then the other half of the class he had taught for 3 years). Anyway our last lesson ended up being with him and he had prepared a THREE PART SPEECH to tell us as well as made a cake for us all. He started crying by the second part and one of my classmates ended up reading the end. Definitely not as horrible as people act like he is.
