Hi Laura .I cannot believe you rode through the ford when I was there it was so slippery on the approach that standing was impossible. Never mind cycling !!! Love the area must go back again soon. It's quite a climb from the Cobb where you were eating fish and chips ((sat there many times as has Tilly)up to the top. I carry a repair kit in a can that repairs the tire and pumps it up.The last time I had to get a wire edge tire off it took a heat gun to break the seal.! Great trip thanks.Richard and Tilly 🚲😀🐕🐾
Cute as a button! Love your voice, very expressional! 😊 I'm glad you got that tyre on in the end, looks like a mini nightmare job - but you must been chuffed. Perhaps there's a tool out there that makes it easier?
Hi Laura looks like a great route. I don't have a Garmin or anything, I'm old school and use Google maps when I ride. Any idea where I can get a good map of the EDT? Also I have a MTB, do you think this route is suitable for that?
Great video a real insight into the trail. Did you get the route from Komoot ? I do have it but on Komoot it does the route anti clockwise it looks like you did it clockwise. I want to get a train from Barnstaple to Exeter where it officially starts and I think id rather do it the same way as you. Think I'm going to do it on my XC hardtail which I think will work fine. Looks like you found some nice camp spots and it looks like there's plenty of food stops. Again a Lovely film
Hi how do you find a 1x system on the road I’m trying to work out what to get 1x or 2x I will have to ride more road to get to any gravel here in Kent so I’m a bit lost in what’s best thank great adventure you had
I personally have favoured 1x 12 for a very long time. I had a compact double on my road bike and it worked fine but I have 1x on all my mountain bikes and gravel bike
Love your adventures Laura. You always make me smile...I am into Wild swimming and exploring on my bikes. How do you plan and navigation all your bike route? Thinking of getting a Garmin 840?
Hi I don’t have a garmin I use OS maps on my phone. I really need a quad lock or to get a garmin. It’s a bit slow to get my phone out my pocket all the time
Hello Laura, very enjoyable video as always. May I ask how you locked your bike at night and if you have something that you would recommend? Thank you for bringing us all along on your trip. 😀
Hi I have an abus combi flex lock, its tiny and more to stop the bike being wheeled away. It’s handy if you are in and out of a shop or at a cafe and long enough to attach your bike to a post or railing
Partner and I really enjoyed your video, which is a nice departure from the other, can you make your content more accessible by having closed captioning? relying on the dreaded auto captioning make it very hard to watch (I am Profoundly Deaf).
I really enjoyed this! Thank you for sharing.
Great to see so many familiar nooks and tracks in my local area.
Great video as always Laura, awesome scenery, please keep them coming ❤

I actually emailed and asked for the GPX from the east Devon trail website, because I don’t have komoot, I can’t stand the apps maps.
