I remember going for October on a sunday morning as an excuse to leave a family function where I don't like most of the people, and that was a peace and quiet that I didn't know I needed. That movie was like living with Dan and experiencing everything just like he was. It was sad, slow and indulgent, just like real life. But I think this genre was more coming of age than human drama. This movie really leaves a lot to be desired because as humans we tend to seek closures and definite endings but like real life sometimes those are luxuries you can't afford. Where is ‘Dan’? This is so nuanced. Sometimes just one thing one moment one word…can change everything for a person. Guess we all should find or keep the Dan in us alive. Dan is just not a person, Dan is an emotion and action. May we all find the Dan within than outside. Juhi Chaturvedi, thank you.
