👍👍👍 .. nice 😊. Those IKEA Utensil Holders are an underrated and versatile piece of Kit. 15-odd years ago, in South Africa, I made 'Hobo Stove' sets for the Home, Kids (2) and myself. For the Pots, I converted Stainless Steel Tea / Coffee / Sugar / etc Containers that I had 'salvaged' from the kitchen. No fear, I prevented the 'Wrath Of' descending on my Head by getting prior permission and replacing them with nice Glass versions thereof 😁. Last year, I visited my Son, now living in the UK, and his Set is still in use 😊. Military Surplus Gear for me is the best .. it is practical and it lasts. Perhaps not suitable for the new-fangled 'Ultra-lightweight' Mindset and distance ('how far can we travel in one day with the lightest possible loadout') Backpacking but, for a day or two or three, in the woods, ideal. And one does not have to travel far to enjoy the time. My local forest here in Switzerland sits just 150m behind me and 5 minutes into it and a minute or two off the main path .. surrounded by trees, I can be anywhere. Thanks for sharing and until next time, take care ..
Hi Thomas ! Thank you 😊 I agree with you, you are right and I also prefer old honest solid materials as we can often find at army surplus. Thank you for your comment :). Sorry for my English.
Hi friend! I use the same british MTP basha and its one of my favourite forest shelter. Its not very light ant could be longer, but is enough large to cover sleeping man. What region of Slovakia you explore? I explore especially polish mountains Beskidy and sometimes cross the border nad I have my buscraft in Slovakia: Pieniny, Male Pieniny, Ľubovnianska vrchovina. I like it much. Pozdrawiam z Krakowa :) You have new subscribent ;)
Thank you for comment and subscribe :) I like British basha (MTP) its excellent tarp. These places are beautiful (Pieniny, Male Pieniny, Ľubovnianska vrchovina) I live in the middle of Slovakia. Pozdrawiam Kraków :-) :-) :-)
