Hi Schell! I just made 2 of these as George asked me if I could make gift card holders😬. I love them & they’re super cute, quick & easy to make🥰💕. Love u my friend💕. Love hugs blessings & prayers, Donna🥰🙏💕
What a fantastic way to dress up a simple gift card! I've also got to comment and say how much I enjoy your videos. They're clear, simple, easy-to-follow and at a pace that the viewer doesn't get lost in the process. I've watched many videos where the instructor speeds through everything as quickly as possible, and it often turns me off from the project. So thank you, Schell, for taking the time to keep your viewers from being overwhelmed! Can't wait to see what your next project will be! Happy Holidays to you and your family!
I’m glad I found your channel, I thought you stopped card making and videos but happened to check out instagram and saw your post so checked to see if you still posted on TH-cam. I’m not much into instagram so glad you’re on TH-cam!👏👏👏👍
Thank you for sharing this really cute and easy to make gift card holder, have made a few already :) If you divide the base card stock piece into 2 parts with 1.) 4"x4,5" and 2.) 6"x4,5" and score 1.) at 1" and 2.) at 1" and 4", you avoid cutting the whole for the gift card later on. You then just stick the small parts of 1) and 2) together and can apply the pattern paper and decorate as you like... Happy crafting :)
Hi again Sweet Schell... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SUPER CUTE...what a fun gift card holder... Only I hope that Caleb orders a hot cocoa with that gift card...lol...lol... Thank you so much for sharing... Have a fun holiday season... Surie
I love this idea ... and I'm so going to make one for our grandson. Thanks for sharing this idea ... *CA hugs* (Glad to see your videos back on You Tube)
This is a darling gift card holder, I am trying to get caught up on all your fabulous videos! Okay, quick question for you dear… How & what do you use to tape your videos? It's a great angle & super clear. I use my ancient Flip camera, but working around a tripod stinks. Thanks for the fun idea - Hugs, Gale The Happy Stamper =)
Thanks Gale! I use a Sony HandyCam video recorder. It's HD so that is why it is so clear. I am still getting used to it though, just got it last year. Before that I used my sons camcorder ( not sure what kind ) I had a few bad film moments but changed some settings and it's all good now :) I do use a tripod also. I have it positioned on my left side and just angle the camera at my desk. I try to use the light from my window as much as possible, my lamps aren't that great so I don't film at night :)
