Hello brother, Am naveen, one of your subscriber, please provide some details about MANITOBA INSTITUTE OF TRADES AND TECHNOLOGY regarding PG 2 years of SCM AND LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT. Please advice me whether its suitable for me or not. Am having overall 6 with no band less than 6. In addition, am having two years of experience in SCM field.
Thanks. Usually institutions name the programs differently but the essence is the same. There should not be much difference in the programs except for some subjects. Logstics might contain some subjects such as Transportation laws etc whereas business will give you an option of studying general business subjects such as marketing etc. Look for the subjects/courses and you will know the difference. There is no major difference in careers.

Hi bro im studying post graduate Certificate after completing my bachelors in Mechanical engineering. I have 1 year experience in sales. Can you pls guide me what should I do . To improvise my career.pls
Sangeeta ji , you would not find Masters in Canadian colleges. Only Universities provide masters degrees. Concordia University in Montreal, University of British Columbia in Vancouver and, York University in Toronto provide Masters in this field. However, note that the admission requirements can be competetive and you might be asked for GMAT, high grades and other stuff. Check their admission requirements. Most students go for PG Diplomas in SCM. I'll give you another option. You can go for an MBA and opt for a major in SCM. Universities like Thompson Rivers University are not so competetive for MBA. Others will ask for GMAT and work exp.
Sir can i go for supply chain management as international student in Canada , I have done bachelor in computer science engineering. Is it relevant course, lest my visa get refused due to this. Please guide me
You should give first priority to Masters in Electrical and Comp. Engg or Applied Computing, then PG Diplomas in Data Analaysis or Web Design Or Marketing automation etc
Lambton College, Kwantlwn Polytechnic University and St. Clair College are few instituions that provide 2 year PG diplomas in this field. There are a few others. Select your province first. The quality is more or less the same everywhere.
Sir ,I am coming canda next year 2021 September.. after completing my graduation and try to take admission in SCM for one year Crouse then next year second year Crouse ,so it is possible , which college is good plz sir guide me
Go with humber college and george brown college. As SCM is more practical based. Over here in canada even though everyone says that marks do matter but the true thing is (REFERENCE/ YOUR NETWORKING/ YOUR CONTACTS). These can be achieved by two ways:- 1) Make contact with the professor and try to get the help from your HEAD of the department in getting the reference letter from them that You are good student and likely to move forward, always attentive, like try to make impression from starting so that when your midterms comes you can ask them for their reference letter.( DO NOT WAIT TILL END OF THE SEMESTER) as they will be busy and might delay or say NO. 2) While studying try to find the warehouse associate jobs. Instead of doing jobs over petrol pump, restaurants, Tim hortons, MCdonalds, Burger king, Pizza-Pizza, subway. Try to get the job in Walmart in merchandise or in sales floor associate. DO NOT GO FOR SECURITY AS IT IS THE LAST OPTION TO EARN THE MONEY, IT WILL NOT HELP YOU IN GETTING THE JOB. (IN CANADA THE MOST IMPORTANT THING RECRUITERS ASK IS 1) REFERENCE 2) CANADIAN EXPERIENCE As you are fresher u don't have any Canadian experience. THE MOST REPUTED COLLEGE IN CANADA SPECIALLY IN ONTARIO(TORONTO): 1) GEORGE BROWN COLLEGE Because u will find canadian students, all other international students (not other colleges were u will find mostly INDIANS,CHINESE, PHILIPPINE). Also George brown is the best in all field and most reputed college in canada. You will not find any agent or consultancy referring it as they did not get any commissions from your admission. GBC deals transparently. Most of the company prefers George brown student then other. as they have best course, best teachers and most importantly u will get the reputed job in reputed company.Their most courses were co-op. 2) HUMBER COLLEGE Because they provide the practical knowledge more then other. It is far more better as they provide the knowledge o SAP and Canada customs for the logistics. They have far more better relation with the companies because of their professors. To conclude, the most important thing you should keep in your mind is that you are here to make your career, to get reputed job. To do so u should take your first step properly and wisely. You will find many people saying " Don't worry nothing like these in Canada, I will arrange everything, education doesn't create any impact". But I would say think like this " How many of you are in competition to get PR, JOB all over the world. Every year thousands of students comes to canada and this is not enough your main competition is with the Family persons( those guys who came here on PR or on work permit). You are spending too much of money and still you are not getting what you deserve and they didn't pay such money or on worst scenario create a fake experience and get in Canada. so to avoid your future getting ruined by anyone choose college wisely, never follow the rumours. In Canada no ones care for you, they just here to make the money. All the colleges knew about this but they are getting their commission and students. SCM is good and to build your career in SCM I would suggest 1) George Brown college 2) Humber college
Good Content. Some questions here. Is diploma holders in SCM paid well or not in Canada? Do they get a chance to become manager or not once they become an exeperienced employee?
As I mentioned in the video, most of the roles are the ones that people do get to play and these are realistic salaries. Right away, you would not be paid as well as an experienced employee. You might start as a warehouse assistant or on another similar role but gradually yes, there will be rising up the ladder for sure. Becoming a manager would not be a big problem after 5-6 yrs. But if you get a bachelor degree, the time period might be reduced. I hope the answer satisfies you.
@@youngstudentsabroad7241 Thanks for your response. Another question here. In india, to get the top positions / managerial posts, it is important to have a bachelor degree. By that I mean that, if you have 10 yrs of exeperience and you have only a diploma, you can not reach to top levels as bachelor degree is must in India. Is the same scenario there in Canada or not, in SCM and in other fields????
@@sumeetparmar4383 Canadian work culture gives a lot of importance to qualifications. The more certifications you have, the higher you are on the corporate ladder. In India, it is not like that. Even some managerial job postings might ask for a Masters degree. One way of going about it is to get a diploma and then work for some time and go back to college to complete 2 more yrs to get a bachelors. Certainly, top positions are not available to Diploma holders.
@@youngstudentsabroad7241 Thanks for your response. As of now my financial condition doesn't allow me to do a bachelors degree in Canada as it costs a lot, so for now I'll choose the diploma / advanced diploma course and after few years complete my bachelors degree to reach to higher positions. // One more question here, If I'll choose 3 years of advanced diploma program, then what would be the period of bachelors degree to complete?? 1 year??
