I have the S22, and I really don't see a reason to upgrade. It's pretty much the same looking phone. I actually prefer the S22 camera design over the S23. I feel like the "bump" protects the camera lenses more. I'll probably wait until the S25. I feel like the S24 will be the same as well, just improvements to the hardware but not the design.
its the same with going from pixel 6 to 7. ALWAYS skip 1 or 2 generations when upgrading. That goes for anything
Hi s22 user here, isn't the s22s battery life annoying for you or the fact that it gets hot a little fast?

@Defix nah I mean relative to todays standard it isn't up to the mark in terms of battery. The performance however is good
@@abdullahafzalkhan8414 I have a knock around RAZR 5G phone laying around. What's sad is that Qualcomm (not necessarily Samsung) doesn't really focus on creating high end efficiency chips. So what that means is even though my RAZR 5G has a mid range 5G chip, the battery life is much better than my Galaxy S22. Even though the RAZR has a slightly smaller battery. Because Qualcomm makes the best energy efficient mid range chips.

I have an s22 and your speed tests really didn’t do justice to the obsceen amount of thermal throttling under sustained load. Play a decently demanding game for more than 5 minutes and you’ll see the s22 both get lots hotter and run quite a bit slower than the s23. I wouldn't say it's a reason for me to need the upgrade but the chip is actually a lot better this year, much more than opening apps would show you.

S10 and older it makes sense to upgrade to s23

@@ascendtoaesthetics upgrading every 3 years makes sense. That's usually when a lot of phones stop receiving os updates
@Alfred M I'd say the s20 series from the s21 series unless you are tech-savvy u shouldn't upgrade. The main upgrade is efficiency and camera, not many people are a competitive mobile gamers or huge mobile photographers than nitpicks every tiny detail because in real life most users would struggle to notice the difference between the s21 camera and the s23 ultr. I'm upgrading cause I'm a tech-savvy elsewise i wouldn't upgrade and if your not a tech savvy I'm literally keen on non tech savvy to buying an s21 ultra and even next year the s21 ultra will remain the value konf now that samsung has expanded software support and it belows any mid rangers out if the water without a doubt considering the s10 series below current a series out if the water and if u know how to rom it by all means by the s10.

According to the options you have given, I would go for S23 +. This is coz it has a larger battery compared to S22 + and S23. Also it has a better processor. I had an S22 + and now S23 + and noticed that with the S23+ it's smoother and lasts longer. Also my S22+ could heat up even when I was doing simple tasks but have not noticed that in the S23 +. Also S23 + has a UFS 4.0 storage

@Hui lang It looks like the same phone lol. It has the same chip and looks exactly the same. If you have a 13, it would be a waste of money to upgrade to the 14 (though I’m sure that some have).

It used to be, with the S-Series, one could set the phone to where the only way the screen comes on is the power button. I've had the s22 for awhile in love it. But it doesn't allow that option. I keep my phone in my pocket and it keeps tapping on the emergency call Button. If anybody knows the way to fix that let me know. Thanks

At first my S22 was dreining batery much more then exe. Now after 1,5 are and batery is on sawe mod. But this is i think first mob. That i will use fey area im realy tierd of buying ewry are or ewry 2 are newe mob. I hawe in reserve Iphon S6 and it works like first day i cudent beliwe . But Samsung S line is also wery good. I haee first A line in 2 are trash it but with S series im heppy.

if you want the s23 it is better to get it with a sim unlimited data etc as you get the phone cheaper.
id mobile do it for £139 upfront plus £25 a month for 2 years. total £729 vs just buying the phone £550 to £600 cost. Then having to put in a sim which would at the cheapest for unlimited data be £17 a month.
yes you could get a £5 unlimited phone calls sim from smarty with no data much, but why you need to use it online

Stop playing games with the people. These are clearly 2 of the same phones😂😂😂 both are slow at 120hz😢😢, in comparison to most other phones running at a standard of 144hz & 165hz😮😮😮. The s22 can be gotten for a lil over $300, which is the better deal here.

Whenever he makes videos about iPhones 90% of the time he is annoying but when he makes Samsung pixel or one plus content it has a quality not because I hate iPhones but usually when he makes Samsung content he doesn't just clickbait. When he makes iPhone content it's usually iPhone 11 is the best phone, always trash-talking iPhone 12 series, and always recycling the content of iPhones u should avoid buying. When he talk about Samsung he usually does a better job. This channel I'd say now a days should become a samsung based channel and a apple hater channel as he is 95% of the time clickbaiting bout iPhones.

if i exchange my s22 for a new s23 i have to pay 337$ as per samsung upgrade offer
also i pre ordered s22 at 843$ and with pre order offer i got 180$ worth accessories with it like buds 2 ,wireless charger and 25w charger for free so basically i paid 663$ for the phone and rest for accessories
