    Toe spacers definitely feel much better. I have bunions/metatarsus. However, I just use the singular ones that go between the big toe and second toe.
    I've tried the stretchy ones that seperate all toes (as shown in the video), but they seem to cut off my circulation. ....Maybe I just don't have them broke in yet. Idk.

    Can you run with these toe spreaders?… And should you wear these all the time to help reverse bunions?
    And any exercises you recommend to strengthen your toes to reverse this condition. I’ve noticed this year I wasn’t stretching as much and my calf muscles was a lot tighter then usual and I also noticed a few months ago my left ankle and calf muscle was slightly swelling up. Experiencing intermittently when sleeping, just before waking up pulling my calf muscle and it went into a spasm. I’m not sure if my issues with my left calf muscle caused the beginnings of a bunion or the other way round?

    How do you size them? I bought a pair from Ebay, buy they cut the circulation off to some of my toes(esp my big toe) like a rubber band would when you wrap it around your finger multiple times. What am I doing wrong and how should we measure which type and/or brand of toe spreader to buy?

    • @magdagopaul5225
      @magdagopaul5225 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wild toes and correct toes are the only ones I know of that don’t cut off circulation, they are a bit pricier especially CT. I had the same issue when I bought some from a drug store, the issue is that those are one size fits all.

    • @Aethuviel
      @Aethuviel 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tineh9724 Yes because I have to, but I wish I had more toe socks. They always add a little separation, and prevent the toes from "sticking" (mine are very cramped and fit together like a mold with flat sides of the small toes, shoe-shaped feet). I also bought some toe separator socks, but they are only for stretching and not comfy to wear while walking. 😄 (Big, thick "seam" on the underside.)

  • @rosssmith8521

    What would your ideas be on, after a familiarization period, playing a sport in these, such as basketball, provided you can find a shoe that allows the fit? I say this as you mentioned a re-aligning of the hallux as a "tripod" leg, which literature has demonstrated is quite useful to optimizing performance in sprinting.

    Cool! I've got a pinky toe that was curling under (only one foot), and I've been wearing these all day today (9th Day of Christmas 2021)! I don't have those other problems you said (I'm really into barefoot if I can help it, but I wear heels -mostly open-toed, come to think of it). The strangest thing is COVID (grumble) led me to different daily wear, and there are these boots I like (barely an inch off the ground) - the usual uggs (don't laugh! 😂 ) need to be re-soled, so I think these newer boots may have munched my left pinky toe under. So thanks! I'm SLEEPING in these they're so comfy. I used aloe and a random-rubber separator until these got here, and this feels way better than an aloe-coated rubber "splint" separator. ❤️️😇

      @carpettunnel8837 5 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      CCknows Not saying Correct Toes is worth $65 but they do appear to be a better design. The ones in the video are poorly designed, they are literally pulling your first and last toe inward. There shouldn’t be a loop around the first and last toe because your toes need to splay OUT, not be pulled in. They probably need to do this because the material is so soft that it would just fall off. Looks like a waste of money.

    This is a knockoff of Correct Toes. The most obvious issue is the "one size fits all." Some people are going to end up with the bands feeling too tight. Also, the dividers point downward instead of upward. Maybe that's because Correct Toes has a patent on the upward shape. I assume this is optimal for keeping your toes from going into doraiflexion.

      I would say not exactly a knockoff. These are a much squishier, very stretchy kind of silicone material, not just copies of Correct Toes which are flexible, but firmer silicone. I have both (my squishy ones are Naboso) and I find they both have their uses :~)

    What I want to know are why podiatrists and their organisations are still -- in 2020 -- recommending shoes with support, toe spring, heel cushioning, rounded toes, and rigid soles? They're relying on efforts to improve a bad shoe design to make up for foot injuries caused by bad shoe designs. It's ridiculous.
