You are thinking one side ❌❌👎👎. Govt wishes common man must use 2 wheeler for 100 km dia use local bus / metro , avoid 4 wheelers for pollution n traffic jams , wants max revenue for luxury , use bus/ railway / planes for travelling above 100km ☑️☑️👍👍
Well if government wishes common man to use public transport then the public transport should be better than the cars... For eg in other countries they have trains faster than road transportation. Fast means insainly fast like 400km/hr...imagine going to Delhi in 4 hours from the other end of India like for eg karnataka and it also have to be economical... People will not even think of taking their cars.. That is what government should focus on NOT demotivating car owners and making brands exit India or taxing people to death
