- Hey Park Hoppers! We were lucky enough to be able to stay in the villas at the Disneyland Hotel on opening day! It was an amazing experience. We put together a full room and hotel tour. Special shoutout to our friends who gave us this stay and made it possible. We are so grateful for your generosity!

Take advantage of the amenities b/c the “resort fees” are tacked onto the bill so you’re paying for it! It looks spectacular. Thanks for posting. Someday…(sigh)☺️
You’re so right! We really need to do a better job of ”enjoying the resort” when we stay someplace, cause like you said you’re paying for it
Preferred view vs standard view. It’s literally the view? Or is there extra .
Just the view, as long as it’s the same room type. If you’re looking at a Duo Studio then those are different than what we showed here
Thank you for the tour! As a solo traveler for the RunDisney races this year, would you recommend this or the original Disneyland Hotel? Currently have both booked, very similar price, and having trouble deciding. I also am having trouble grasping exactly how big the property is. Is the Discovery Tower just a minute or two from the building where check-in is?

I’d say if the prices are similar, stay in the new rooms! Also, the discovery tower is just passed goofys kitchen the right side. A very short walk from the main check in building.
@@ParkHoppingDuo Thank you!!! I have never been to Disneyland at all. I am running the half marathon only but will be there 4 nights total, and the difference I'm looking at is about $300 (total!! not per night). Next stop will be checking out all of your dining videos :)

I’m planning a trip to Disneyland next year. Honest opinion, which is better for a family of 3? Disneyland hotel standard room or the room you guys stayed in this video?
Honestly if you aren’t going to spend a lot of time in the room, we’d do whatever is cheaper! You still have access to the same pools. The Disneyland hotel rooms are still really nice, just a smaller bathroom
