- Charlotte North scored six goals to lead Boston College to its first NCAA women's lacrosse championship. The outburst brought her 2021 final total to 102 - a new DI single-season record, surpassing Courtney Murphy's 100 in 2016. See all six goals vs. Syracuse here.

Not only a beast on the field but a class act off it. She’s an inspiration to the younger girls and takes time to be a role model. My daughter is inspired and loves the game, CN and Belle Smith have been great to her in the few moments they’ve shared. Great athletes and great young women.

that doesn’t in any way take away from how amazing charlotte north is. she has changed our game forever, as a past d1 athlete and a now d2 athlete, charlotte north it by far the greatest player in college lacrosse since kylie ohlmiller. izzy scans was also against weaker opposition, charlotte north wins draws, gets assists, and shoots like no other. don’t try to take away from her accomplishments, she’s the best in the league this yesr

Not very hard to score when you can run through everybody because you can’t stick check or body check in womens lacrosse

This just looks silly. I don't know the rules, but you can just run with it? How do you get the ball from the opposite team?

It’s actually 8 meters, its very hard, from someone who plays its hard to rip it past a goalie from that spot, she is so accurate and D1 goalies are so skilled it is really hard. It may look easy but to not run in it takes a lot of strength and practice to aim it at those speeds. So if you haven’t stopped her shot please dont take away from all the hard work she has put in to get that shot perfect
@@gracemason2069 ill give her props on the athleticism stick skills speed agility etc...but the highlights they showed had 4 plays where she ran thru the defense and put the ball in the net from like 4 feet away. one shot was maybe 8 feet away.
Hi Greg,
Women’s lacrosse pockets are much shallower than men’s. We’re required to cradle the ball in order to maintain its centrifugal force. To be able to keep the ball from flying straight out of the pocket- running or not running- is in itself, pretty difficult. Also, please keep in mind that lax players are running all the time. So to score with such high precision and accuracy requires some immense skill. I highly recommend you try it out for yourself, as it may help you develop a greater appreciation for the sport.
@@Ljk627 Interesting point. My question is why the women's lacrosse don't wear protective gear compared to the men's? I only see the goalies wearing helmets.....
@@Ze_Moose don’t need it They aren’t allowed to check as hard and can’t hit people so it would just kinda slow them down but some players opt to wear Helemts
