Thank you so much for the comparison! I recently got the H35 and I was researching what films to get! I hope your channel grows even more you deserve the subs! ❤
i just got my film roll developed and i hate with the kodak gold that on most images of the sky, it is just white; awfully oversaturated. while indoors it sometimes seems undersaturated. i have seen other people with this problem as well. even if the sky is beautifully blue irl, it doesn't always capture it. otherwise i love the "vintage" colors of the overall images. i am now looking for an alternative film where i can get the vintage vibe but capture the sky properly as well. i think that i am going to try the portra 400 next as i have seen some nice images made with that combined with the ektar. contrasting b/w film also seems to be a good option for this camera like the Ilford Delta 100.
Totally get what you mean by the colours for Kodak Gold. I think the film is good as an all rounder/vintage feel but it's not one for super saturated colours. I actually have a Portra 400 lined up for my next roll, so I might make a video of that to show some of the results. :)
Ektar was so much warmer and more colorful. Feel like I’m gonna need to buy two cameras so I can have a day and a night one! Especially since theres so many frames to get through.Looking at buying the new model for the glass lens and new features
Hmm. Little late to the party. But yes. The little camera makes some nice pictures. But keep in mind, they could be better. So don’t be fooled in thinking this is what analog photography is. Even though you made some really beautiful pictures I’ve gotta admit. Love the pumpkins though. We call these “half frame” cause “normally” we get one picture for the place of two. But it’s a good start. It gets people back into analog photography. I still have negatives and pictures from my childhood. Even though I lost the childhood pictures of my kids due to crashes harddrives. Sadly.

Any videos about comics in the near future? Would love to see what's been on your radar
Absolutely! Have a few videos in the works which should be out within the next few weeks.
While processing is 500 dpi is enough for normal sized photo prints

I was really surprised by how much I liked the Ektar one! Getting a night and day camera sounds like a great idea to cover your bases.

Loving Kodak gold , is the other film stock kodak ektachrome ?
Kodak Gold is great! The other one is Kodak Ektar 100 - it's different to the Kodak Ektachrome, which I haven't myself tried!
I think the Gold200 needs a slower brother with ISO 100 with an equal color characteristic.
