Holland America has been my favorite cruise line for 35 years, starting when I was 22 years old, they just have great service from all the staff

I usually pick the cruise line based on the destination unless I am just wanting to try something new. I can't really speak to solo travelers since I have never traveled solo. There is another youTuber. Gary Bembridge with Tips for Travelers. He often travels solo and probably has some videos that could answer your solo question.

@bettyb1581 I travel solo most of the time, about the same age as you. Holland is my favorite so far. Love the food on the buffet, no sitting in the main dining room for 2 hours with folks staring at you. Everyone is so friendly and accommodating. Atlas is also very good, smaller ships but you can catch a good deal occasionally. They removed their solo cabins this year. Celebrity is good too. Hope this helps.
