- Come decorate with me for Spring and Easter 2022, our Dining room gets some new colors. As you know if you have been following us, I change out my spaces with our collections with the seasons so we can see our beautiful things. We love to collect and are avid maximalists here. We are traditional and love to see color. Spring and Easter is perfect to bring in some color. I had the blue and white out for Winter and early Spring. The blue and white is now leaving making room for more amethyst and light green for Easter. I show you and walk you through my process arranging my shelves. The star of our Spring is "Old Britain Castles" by Johnson Brothers. This is one of our favorite china sets and it needs to be seen for Spring this year. The light green compliments the pink and lavender hughs thoughout. I found some acrylic plate stands after my early Spring fireplace mantle video that I did. Some of our good friends and subscribers mentioned I needed a clear acrylic stand to go with the pink depression glass that you can see through. I found some stands very reasonable on Amazon the link is below if you are interested. Also if you remember from last year, I had purchased some adorable Spring tin signs. They have quite a selection and if you are interested the link for those is below as well. Oh I did need to see a bunny today and some green things! It's freezing here and snowing on the snowdrops in Connecticut. I am hauling out my spring things and my bunnies now you've got me on a roll. I just started collecting egg cups and egg coddlers to put my Pysanky Polish eggs on display. Today's favorites: that hummingbird teapot and the sweet violet teacup. I am feeling 10 years younger and 20 pounds thinner after watching the video this morning :-) Bring on the Easter Parade!

Hello Jeff and Angela, Thank you, as always, for sharing a part of your day and providing such a warm, friendly and peaceful place to rest for a while. The world’s problems just kind of slip away or perhaps get put into a different perspective. Your highly anticipated and waited upon initial introduction to Spring has finally arrived and it perfectly mirrored the sense of rebirth and redemption that spring brings to each of us. The coolness of the blues has been completely (almost) overtaken by the muted beauty of spring. Lavenders, golden colors, pinks, reds, greens have overtaken the landscape (your dining room) and no doubt has spilled over to the rest of the house (as you said, a topic for a future show). The seemingly effortless blending of Easter into this mix is just perfect and beautifully compliments the overall tapestry you have woven, one providing a sense of rebirth, redemption and hope for the future.
There is so much of your decorations that one could touch upon, I will just touch upon just one: the green truck with the bunnies and colored eggs. This one small scene was a microcosm of the whole: the new baby rabbits that accompany spring; the Easter theme of the Easter rabbit, a warm and cuddly sense, the fun and innocence of the baby rabbits and the colored Easter eggs reminding us all of family time where the family enjoys time together coloring eggs (and fingers counter tops etc.) then eat them, hide them, display them, whatever. I am in awe of the vision and creativity involved, and this is just one small part of the whole. Doesn’t happen by accident. Finally the new tee shirts are really great!!! Two are already on the way and I saw a couple of new ones I had somehow missed that will soon also be on the way. Can’t forget to be Happy! Such a thrill to hear you mention our names, it is always a surprise, but very nice.

All your glassware is beautiful and I do have a suggestion if your open to it. In order to make the objects more prominent, perhaps you can make a template of the back of the shelves and cover with a velvet paper or something to your liking. You can try it with one shelf and see. In this way you can remove it whenever you want. I think when you paint or paper the back of shelves they look amazing.

Hi ya Jeff I'm actually laying in bed I was helping clean up and my back decided it was going to pick now to play up . So Tammy has made me lay down . I hate it . Jeff is finishing the front yard off because the back has still got water laying . The trenches we had to do will have to stay until this weather finally goes away . But it is still threatening to storm . Jeff's family up north are mud cleaning but Jeff can't go the roads are still cut off. All around us is heartbreaking people lost everything . We lost our yard and flooding under the house but we still have the house . Tammy has been working with the vet and a friend . So many animals drown and little ones needing help . That's one thing I can do feed the babies . But what you have done is beautiful the pink and lavender are so cute . I better go babies are crying for bottles and food . Bonjour Jeff, What a lovely display of all your nice plates and dishes for the coming season. Those soft pastels colors are giving the whole display a very romantic touch ; it is gorgeous. Good morning Jeff, really really beautiful. I am drawn to your wonderful pieces with violets on them. My late grandma loved those. You are right about Amazon. I needed 12 of those clear acrylic plate stands in a certain size and it was just so easy on Amazon. Between my points and what I saved on car gas I convinced myself they were free LOL. Super job Jeff. Love it

Thank you so much! So glad spring is coming. I just love Fritz and Floyd. Their bunny collections are the best. Right now on my table is a handled basket with large pansy's and a bunny. You just can't beat the colors and expressions. So enjoyed this.

Oh my goodness, where do I start? This has to be in my top 10 all-time favorite videos, because I loved every piece that you displayed, as well as the soft colors. Fitz & Floyd bunnies are my favorites, and the little bunny, hanging out of the truck window is so stinking cute.🐇🐰 I just opened 2 boxes of Easter, which had not been unpacked in 32-35 years, and found my large Fitz & Floyd bunny, wonderful eggs, etc. They are now displayed on my antique sideboard. Your tea cart wins 🥇1st prize. The crystal decanters and stems are beautiful. I will definitely be rewatching this one everytime I'm stressed, because the music is so relaxing/soothing with happy content. 😊🎶✳️🎵💙❇️💛

If you can buy the Johnson bros set on the reduced day it would be a huge savings.....there are different dates told by the backstamp....and all the dinner plates are not the exact same size by different dates so look for a mix matched bunch too ! Also...I have not forgotten you floral question .tomorrow I'm doing a ton of arrangements that may help and by what you told me of yours the first thing I would do is remove the ivy.....its just not right lol I would almost never use it.... it doesn't grow that way and maybe better alone ! Its not used in cut flowers ....replace with a fern or two see what you think !!!😎❤🌷🐝🐇🍀

The tin Easter post cards look perfect in their location. I love the peony plate, I am waiting for mine to bloom later this spring. Iris and peonies are 2 of my favorite flowers, but truly I love them all. The child’s tea set is exquisite! The shelves are splendid, you have so many amazing pieces. Now I’m going shopping! It looks like I’ll need a spring/summer t-shirt! 😉💐💐💐
