The last Soilwork album I listened to was Stabbing the Drama. I got burned out on metal for a long, long time. I randomly looked them up the other day and listened to this song and was blown away. This is incredible. Then I saw that David died... it's been a rollercoaster of emotions rediscovering Soilwork. I hope they stay together, I'd love to see them live again almost 20 years later.
These cats have been one of my favorites since steel bath suicide. I don't get many new albums to look forward to each year, but I can always count on Soilwork to deliver.
I adored Figure Number Five and Stabbing the Drama during my late teen years but kind of fell out of love with Soil works sound after Great Divide onwards. I mean there than Bjorn singing and Sven on Keys after Divide but otherwise it was a completely different band after that, and you can clearly hear the difference! Recently been listening to the later stuff and I'm now enjoying it, including this epic one! Can't wait to see them with In Flames in Manchester next year! I've wanted to see both Swedish juggernauts for over 20 years!

yeah, the drums on this song is next level, that little "speedboost" on the chorus, even tho its just a minor thing, but damn does that just solidify the beats on this song
Soulwork is indeed what I call a "well oiled machine". The way they play together is perfect. Everything they play (although not always my jam) is beautiful. They truly are talented individuals. I've followed loosely since stabbing the drama and I can say they're good for sure. This song in particular shows the raw talent.
So great. Insane guitar work, drums (the rippling bass drums thrilled me) and vocals. This song randomly coming on my Spotify has now turned me on to the rest of your material!
I found this band by listening to In flames back in the day with their song Rejection Role… For years In Flames was my favorite Death Metal Band.. but damn, it eventually shifted to Soilwork… just so damn good.
This song randomly popped up on my Spotify after a White Chapel song. It's for forever locked in to my playlist. 🔥🤘🏾🔥 The drums 🥁, the guitars 🎸, the singer👨🏾🎤 all culminate together for a masterpiece!
One time at like 1130 I was so fucking tired bit couldn't sleep. I threw this on and just sat their listening. I saw God in that moment. I'll never forget that experience.
Out of the newer Soilwork songs (sorry, I generally prefer the older ones), this one is definitely the best. The high notes in vocals... pure epicness.
Dear Lord. I've known for a long time that Soilwork has been my favorite band. This just confirms it even more. Very few bands can do it for as long as they have, and they haven't strayed at all from putting out bad ass metal poetry since their inception. Sure wish you guys could travel closer to my area. Much love from small town east TX.
I just love you all...every single person in this band is a great musician. The technique, arrangement, vibe and the dynamics. Everything you do is so pure and sincere... And of course Bjorn is my favorite vocalist of all times ❤️ Never enough of Soilwork and Nightflight Orchestra... Even though you wrote music I can listen for a lifetime...it just isn't enough. Sometimes The World Ain't Enough 😅

I thought this song was some old-school stuff until I finally found this. I have a mod for Fallout 4 called Metal FM and this is one of the tracks and I absolutely love this song
Was just listening to some new times of grace and this came on through Spotify and holy hell I fell in love. Haven't listened these guys in a while but hell I should have been 😮
Tout ! Tout dans cette chanson est incroyable. Elle vient clore parfaitement votre EP. Bravo les gars, incroyable son ! vous nous faites un cadeau qui n'a pas de prix !
Fantastic!!!! I think last time saw Soilwork was 2005 Ozzfest, did follow their music but past couple albums I missed out on.....this track caught my attention....excellent vocals as always. Just caught up with Feverish and Desperado, very cool trilogy...now got to watch all three a few more times to take it all in..some very cool standout guitar work in the vids. The drumming is always outstanding...definitely be paying closer attention to Soilwork
Thanks everyone for checking in during the premiere! We are so happy that you like Death Diviner 🙏🏻 Stay tuned for exciting news soon... ✌🏻
How soon, im too excited tell us now!!!! Great trinity of works here, thank you Soilwork!!
Amazing work as always guys
Epic new song.
You are the best 🇧🇷🤘🏻❤️

SAME DUDE IT'S AMAZING
That riff is very lateralaus like. Brilliant song.
I was thinking that verse riff sounded Tool. Couldn't think of the song though.
Reminds me of a Tool and Mastodon mix 🤘
That's exactly what I was thinking...Lateralus and Planet of Zeus a lot!
Glad I’m not the only one that could hear some Tool in there... just couldn’t place the song
Same, right off the bat. But it's good! 🤘

I started with Stabbing the Drama. Never seen them live though. JFC just checked they are coming to my town in 6 weeks what?
They’ll stay together but David is a heavy loss (not only) for their music, considering he is credited for writing masterpieces like this one 😢

Not sure if youre aware but they dropped a new song a couple of weeks ago. Bjorn has announced a new NFO album but so far just a single for Soilwork.
In my opinion this is one of the greatest metal songs ever written 🤟🏻
Agree
I truly agree. Björn really made a godlike performance! I got goosebumps and tears in my eyes, it really hits the soft spot...

I think this is correct.
That voice! Perfection.
Got my blessings from a death diviner
Cut my shackles with the force of life
That slipped away
Oh, and left me drained
Fox-feline furs and cane room dividers
Huddling silently until her ghost
Was whisked away
Oh, but I remained
When the skies remained an empty threat above me
But the weight of everything that came to pass
Brought me down to kneel before the death diviner
In the hope that she would make me free at last
Saw my future with the death diviner
My reflection in her eyes drew up
My twisted past
Oh, I came unmasked
When the skies remained an empty threat above me
But the weight of everything that came to pass
Brought me down to kneel before the death diviner
In the hope that she would make me free at last
When the skies remained an empty threat above me
But the weight of everything that came to pass

faux or fox?
@@timcarrier3409 Well, being that Faux is pronounced Foe and means imitation or fake and they clearly say fox.... I'd say fox
My God Bjorn's voice is just next level. Would really like to see him and Howard Jones do a song together
This!!!!!!
throw in some Matt Heafy
@@holdenshort8828 oh man, that would be very complementary I think, would love to hear this!

The Voice, the rhythmic guitars, the guitar tone(s). Everything is just perfect. All time favorite.
RIP, Dr. Dave. Bright memory!
The song gives me chills that bridge pulls so many emotions from me.
Speed Strid's vox are angelic! 👼
That double-bass drum -speed-change. holy fuck! 😍. Awesome riff and vocals too.

Heard this live and the hairs stood up on the back of my neck
One of the catchiest metal choruses I’ve ever heard
They do write a lot of catchy choruses
How am I just now finding this band? Damn this is seriously killer!
🤘😎🤘
Out of the newer Soilwork songs (sorry, I generally prefer the older ones), this one is definitely the best. The high notes in vocals... pure epicness.
I've heard of Soilwork but haven't listened to anything from them until now and boy what a banger. Guess I'll keep listening to more from them.
The double bass riff in the chorus makes this song different and 👍 great.
Can't wait until Friday in Manchester, outstanding band
Came across this one a few months ago and always come back.the vocals are just too good!
One my favorites from soilwork ❤seen them live not enough hope to bring my kids to a show just beautiful ❤
This song truly revitalized my very soul. Unique sound charged with amazing energy! Glad a friend showed this one to me.
Just discovered this song and band. I don't know how I haven't heard of them until now....... This song is amazing. My new #1
Wow I've been listening in 2000s
That intro is really sounding a lot like TOOL - Schism, really loving this track. \m/
That chorus
RIP, Dr. Dave.
Thanks Spotify... awsome song
This is 100% the best sounding sound I have ever found. God I love it so much.
I'd never heard of Soilwork until I got Spotify and it recommended this song to me since I like Ghost. Such a beautiful work. Thank you!
That’s how I found them too!
Super!

Good to see Bjorn still at it years later. Been my favorite melodeath singer for well over a decade 👍
Holy crap. Epic! So powerful and emotional music and voice
How can Bjørns vocals just get better for every year that passes? Is there a limit? Damn, that man has some pipes.
Muchas gracias por tan grandiosa canción
God I love me some Soilwork. This song is so fucking epic.
Hell yeah I love their sound.. wanna hear more..plz!

The best song of Soilwork.
Thank God for Soilwork. That is all.
WHOA! Incredible lead vocals....damn!
Probably one of the most underrated songs that I have ever experienced in my lifetime.
Brilliant
This song is a testament to how amazing this band is and how far Melodic Death Metal has come
This song is transcendent
These guys are holding up better than In Flames.
That's an understatement...
I’m telling ya they are the most underrated metal band ever!! More consistent than anyone out there and bjorn works his ass off
Nah, they're right with In Flames, At the Gates and Dark Tranquility as the posterboys for Melodic Death Metal
Pertama kali denger soilwor 2013 album the living infinite sampai sekarang masih suka banget sama lagu-lagunya

Soilwork should go on tour with The Night Flight Orchestra
Thank you, I needed this.

I googled them and their Listed as a Swedish Melodic Death Metal Band
@George Planter I don't think they sound like a death metal band i think they sound more like heavy metal if anything
Heard this song in my mix. Really thought this was Howard Jones. Great song
Sounds nothing like him but okay.
