"The Letter" (with CC lyrics) -- The Box Tops acoustic live cover

60s Flashback! I just love this tune so I had to cover it! Please turn on closed captions to see the lyrics accompany the music...
The Letter was the Box Tops' biggest hit and made it to Billboard #1 in September 1967 and stayed there for 4 weeks and also achieved the #1 ranking song of that year. The song was popular during the middle of the Vietnam War.
The audio of this cover was recorded with an H2-Zoom and I also used a decent video editor for the first time and was able to incorporate a few effects into the video as well. I hope you enjoy... I realized I was putting a kind of "Pete Townshend" fast strum at the end of a few parts in this cover. It seemed to have a nice intense energy that stressed those certain lines.
