No one else is providing this kind of information. Yet there are a lot of people interested in the subject. I fear those interested are not finding these videos.

A few months ago I spent some time working on my tags and following some advice and my views went down noticeably. I tried to set everything back the way I had it and gave up. I like to make the videos but I guess I am not very good at promotion. Your comment has me thinking of looking into it again.

Howdy, Mark. I was wondering if you could provide an example of how to send the Nextion RTC data to the Arduino so that time-based events could trigger on the Arduino based on the Nextion’s time and perhaps even make it so that once a day, week, etc. the Nextion could reach out to an NTP server to update its RTC so that after some period of time, say a year, events would still be triggering exactly when you would expect them to. I could live without the NTP update if the added complexity of that feature is something you’re not willing to tackle but the Nextion RTC to Arduino for time-based events is holding up my current project. As it stands I’m displaying the Nextion time on the Nextion screen, triggering Arduino events (actually an ESP32) via a separate RTC module all while also sending data to a php script which then sends sensor readings to MySQL which has its own time stamp. Needless to say, they’re all slightly out of sync and it’s driving me nuts. Eliminating just the RTC connected to the ESP32 so that the Nextion and ESP32 are in sync would help out tremendously. Anyway, keep the videos coming. You do an excellent job of breaking down the concepts and I frequently find that videos from the past which I never thought I’d need to know anything about become lifesavers when I hit the inevitable Nextion roadblock. Your work is appreciated.

I still have the circuit running and I have been taking pictures about everyday. I hope to have an update on how they all compare over time. You are a person after my own heart. PHP and MySQL are two of my favorite things. I would love to start some more involved projects. If you have seen some of my old videos I discuss the raspberry Pi doing data collection with PHP code. I have a few ESP32 chips collecting dust as they await their turn. I think I would rather use the ESP32 in upcoming videos over the Pi. I keep a list of videos I want to get too and I will add this one to the list. I am not sure that is the reply you want but give me a day or two to think on it and I will reply again. If you do not hear from me in a couple days then the holiday has taken over and I might need a reminder. Please feel free to reach out through cheap controls.com, on the homepage is a comment form sends me an Email. It doesn't record any information or sell anything.

That is an older video so I do not remember it well. Was there a specific question you have? I wish you luck and appreciate your views. Thank you for watching.
