A much easier job than the California big block engine, where you have to remove the sump to change the oil filter, which is a pain. Good to see somebody without grey hair servicing a bike.
Thank you so much for these videos! I'm not an ICE guy and while I know how an engine works in the broadest of terms it's inner workings have always eluded me. Now that I'm a bit older though, and having been gifted a V50C that I'll be taking possession of in a few days, I really want to understand its engine better so that I can do my own maintenance. It'll be my first motorcycle so I'm beyond excited to give it its first dose of TLC in a decade and your videos really boost my confidence a little :D Thanks again!
In fast forward perhaps 😂 You’d probably need to remove the tank to get good access to the valves, so there your five minutes gone right there. Plus you can’t do valves and oil in 5 minutes you have to warn the oil up after the valves, so I’m calling total BS I’m afraid

True
The old design wasn’t originally intended to have a filter, nothing did in the 60s

Great, can you do a air filter change and carb set up next 👍
Indeed
Drinking oil is good for your joints.

@@bikerdood1100 Super helpful. Have you done a video on setting the points or changing the grarbox oil and drive box oil?
Any recommendations for websites to buy parts from?
Lots of good EBay sellers especially in Europe
Guzbits has generally been pretty good as a Guzzi specialist we have found
