The brutality is common in systems that don't spar - they have no other way of validating the instructor's level of skill, or to establish/enforce hierarchy, so you have a system where higher ranks smash lower ranks who just sit there like human punching bags. It's kind of sad.
Fred Mastro is a skilled and talented instructor but the “knife challenge” will ALWAYS favor the one who is attacking with the knife vs the defender. Even Fred Mastro would consistently lose to Fred Mastro in the same challenge. That’s because action is faster than reaction and we’re all wired the same. The defender’s brain has to go through a “Defensive Reaction Cycle” which is 1) perception 2) evaluation 3) reaction This process takes time (even if that time frame only represents a fraction of a second). As a defender you are “behind the reactionary curve”. That is why situational awareness, tactics, looking for pre-assault cues, controlling distance, allow you to preemptively counter or “hit back first”. Action is faster by than reaction so the only thing that will mitigate action is to “get in to action faster”.

How come UFC fights don't look anything like this? What's this dude's MMA record?
@@fearlessnomad5311 what battle?
@@fearlessnomad5311 I know that. I was asking what actually battle scene is there? I only see a mean-spirited french man manhandling people.
Very nice video
Ensaiado corre sempre bem. Gostava de o ver a exemplificar numa luta a sério...
Good luck for your 👍🙏🙏🙏
Thats so smooth
Very effective if the opponent decides to turn into a rag doll, against an angry and active attacker not so much...
Excellent
Lol he just kicks the dude in the mouth.. Never gets old
like video. very good
I love this guy
Nie lejta tyle czornego.
All I keep seeing is Jim Carrey...."come at me like this..."
Jim Carrey could beat this guy in a fight.
Making a demo and having to hurt the people your teaching what wrong with this guy serious ego, pride problems.
1000 percent agreed!!
@@Allthego124 so during a "demo" do you think he should "literally" gouge his partners eyeball out "literally" break an arm or "literally" stab the person he is doing a demo on to prove and show how effective a technique is??
Hell why not headbutt the guy in the face "full contact" too for that matter to prove how "effective" a headbutt is"?
It's one thing to go soft no one is suggesting that BUT, there is no reason to potentially damage, break or cause injury to a training partner or person being used in a "demo"!
It shows lack of control!
@@kevinjackson4457 He didn't damage them the sounds are from the ground
@@ahmadanime7586 I never said he did! Just because a person doesn't drop to the ground doesn't mean they haven't been damaged.
Training should be based on a degree of realism but demos are not realism in the literal sense that is why they call them demos.
@@kevinjackson4457 Yes but there is a warning every demo gives if he's going to get hurt and thats by making a sound by slapping the ground
If this works, why you didn't apply in your mma fight?
ltvprmnms this is more suited for combat attack
Many of these moves are to be performed on an unsuspecting and untrained individual rather than somebody who is standing in a guarded position.
This is self defence, MMA has rules that forbid most of these moves. Within MMA rules he might not be so good. People don't need to try everything in life
@@giammira well you are idiot, in mma you can do almost everything, there is nothing like one punch kill or something magical. Watch early UFC fights bare knuckle and even kick to the groin was allowed
Okay, there is big BIG DIFFERENCE between a real life scenario and an MMA fight. They are training for the street where there are weapons and people who are ready to jump you when your back is turned. In an MMA Fight there are rules , a referee, padded mats etc. On the street there are no rules. You are training to survive . Big Difference.
Very impressive speed sir 👍

wow.. thats a lot of bullshido. but the suicide.. sry "knife defense" trash is really cute
Nice one
fred is not the guy destroyed by malik in a mma fight?
That fight was 13 years ago...

hello new friend here nice video good job!
@@royroys9717 mmm bueno entonces q te parece entrenar Box o Muay Thai
