Thanks a lot. It helps. Going from the nvidia optimized specs, and using your ideas, I've put some more grass to have better speed feeling with helicopters at low level. Desactivated plants. It does popup strangely close and ruins immersion and fps. Some twicks to adapt. It's quite good now, more balanced between gpu and cpu and consistant around 60fps.
10:21 Yes, it keeps switching to medium to me also! Have yet to see rain effects on my windscreen. It's broken. I wondered if it was where Dynamic frame rate was turned on so it automatically lowers settings, but it doesn't affect anything else. I don't agree with some of your settings... Clouds and waves should be on ultra. Doesn't have that much performance loss while looking the best. Also the trees on high is worth the hit. Medium looks very bad without shadows. Displacement mapping is great when the lighting is right. You need a lower sun to appreciate the extra shadow detail in the terrain where it looks more granular and less like a 2D texture. Looks best from low down. I'd have it on for helicopter and foot missions, but turn it off if you're in high altitude flying. Also, I think light shafts might be the amount in a scene, eg: car headlights and street lights frequency, rather than the quality of the shaft itself. As for ray tracing, Asobo does lighting so well it's hardly ever worth it to add the extra load. Even a Plague Tale Requiem I turned it off as there was no noticeable difference in IQ
my 3070ti thanks you for this. Seems some of my settings are off from yours. Takes alot of tinkering with to get it stable... and every ones pc hardware is not the same. So take this mans advice as a Base starting point then go threw each setting like i had to to end up with a solid 40 to 50 frames at Tampa International airport where i used to get only 15 or 20... ALL SOO when u use revers thrust on a turbo prop it DUMPS ur frames.... Or used too before these setting changes. and tinker... now i only see a few fps drop not all of it to only 5 fps....Might be worth testing on your end also? Love and vibes ty for the video... earned my sub
You are fantastic. A lot of Hard work. Truly appreciate. I am flying from Dulles and the scenery is all hazy and washed out. Any tips? Keep up your great work. Cheers 👍
Around 50 to 60giga to install. You need internet to load map. I'm around 20 to 30mb, quite a bad connexion. It's totally ok. More would be better for sure.
Right I have my settings on low to med now & the fps is shit, my 3050 8G card is not good enough now? or fix the multi core tech that was supposed to improve that
I know this what u are doing is very difficult to do and takes much time and not every can handle this, thank bro for ur videos and keep going 💪😉
So nice of you, I appreciate that.
Well done. Excellent guide and the first proper guide to settings.

FYI under graphics if you have air traffic turned off you won't see any one in live multi player... took a hour to figure out why

What's the game download size? And does it require active internet connection to load maps?
