Indian Larry's bike, chain of mystery, is the Mona Lisa of all bikes in the history of bike building nothing compares to this master peice. You live on Larry.
This is the bike that inspires me to want to build hot rods and choppers of my own. God Rest Indian Larry's soul. Here's to the undisputed eternal King Of Cool.
I have allways liked Indian Larrys style; Old School all the way. Notice he used an old FL spring fork and not the new Harley spring fork. I have a picture of him in my computer room, He is doing his seat stand at Gasoline Alley. Thanks for posting this. Rest in peace Indian Larry
White Devi was it's name I believe. For me I'd have to say the Grease monkey was far Superior bike to the others it was just so well refined down to the basics. The basics are where you can build any pro platform from that that works in martial arts and all things good solid basics to build on and the grease monkey was just a tuned dream
This is a awesome bike but I can't help but wonder if even Larry remembers that Eddie Munster had a bicycle with a chain frame. Could this be where Larry got the idea or could it have been in his memory banks from watching the monsters as a kid?
You wont find another bike with as much detail and craftsmenship and artistry.. let me know when you find a bike with custom engrave engine heads.. lol

It hurts my heart seeing that bike and the location. Eerie feeling to think that Indian Larry is dead. I remember those biker build offs.
This and the Rat Fink bike were the best ever builds in my humble opinion. RIP Larry.

without a doubt the best ever. absolutely beautiful chopper.
Sad that it’s sitting there on display. I’m sure he would have wanted someone to be enjoying it

A build built by a builder that I can certainly relate to on both occasions

this bike was his best,no doubt, your comment was right on te money...
I wouldn't trust that welded chain for a frame
All of his bikes look that same. Their nice looking. But too similar
La più bella moto che sia stata creata insuperabile.
Holy shit man.

How do you get a chain ridged enough to be a frame?
A very good welder.

+Doomcast Propagandist Nope, when Larry built it he tested it at full speed round the pot holed roads of NYC.

In todays pathetic politically correct world I can't believe that you can still say Indian.

It's hard to carry on somebody else's legacy when they're no longer here.
