Hobao Hyper ST Nitro - WILL IT RUN??

Picked up 2x Hobao Hyper ST Nitro truggy's recently which had been neglected for many years.
in this video I tear them down, clean up the rusted metal and restore them back to working Glory..... ALMOST

It was rich on most of the video but at the end when you leaned it it was definitely to lean they need minor adjustments like 1/8 at the time .
But never the less it runs 👊

Your bang on there mate, it ran lean when it blew the exhaust off as there was no back pressure for the fuel tank. I've since re fitted the flywheel with thread lock on the nut this time and left it 24hrs to harden. Gave it a run the following day when some new wheels and tyres turned up and gave it a tweak. Running and stopping like a champ now.

Yep 😁 re attached the flywheel with some thread locker. Will see how it goes at #Bashfest2024
