King Randall is a 21 year old community shifter and the founder of the "X" for Boys organization in Albany, Ga where the motto is, "Let US Make Man"
He hosts a variety of workshops teaching young men automotive repair such as changing brakes and oil. He also has workshops teaching home improvement such as replacing light fixtures, toilets, and painting.
King Randall is also a chef. He graduated at the age of 17 with a degree in Culinary Arts from Albany Technical College before even graduating high school. He was the first black, Georgia Restaurant Association Student of the Year in 2016. He led Westover High School's Culinary Arts Team to Second Place in the state culinary championships in 2016 and 2017. With these skills, he has also taught the young men in his program basic cooking skills in different workshops.
He hosts a weekly book club for boys to improve literacy skills and also to teach very important life skills growing into a young man.
King Randall also started a bowling league for boys to get them into sports other than football and basketball. This will lead to potential scholarship opportunities for the boys as well as being another outlet for them to release stress.
He also assists in feeding children weekly in at-risk communities and making sure they have a meal before bed. This is because many children only have a meal at school.
He has recently rebirthed the Iconic "I Am A Man" March, from the 1960s, in Albany, Georgia. It started the new wave of men's mental health Awareness in the city.
King Randall has spearheaded movements that have shifted the atmosphere of the city of Albany and he is just now getting the ball rolling.

I enjoyed and learned from this conversation. I was a school teacher, and now I homeschool my own children based on what I witnessed in public school. As Black people (for both boys and girls) public schools are not our friends.
What homeschool materials do u recommend for black boys?
@@malik1285all of the subjects that public school teaches just don't use public school textbooks especially in history. I would make sure the majority of the books are authored by people of color and in history I would incorporate books that where written 300+ years ago. Make sure you teach things that will be used after school like taxes, finances, A Trade, Horticulture, computer literacy excluding games and social media. Just teach everything that you think would be useful. Think about all the people who dropped out of school, didn't pay attention in school or made low grades but still managed to do the same things in life as people who graduated grade school or even accomplish more. Public school isn't to teach our kids it's to program them

Love the video man! All great ways to save money and be able to focus more on the things that actually add value to your life. I’m a dividend investor, my wife and I have invested in the s&p500, both through my TSP with the government and through fidelity in her 401-k. Cashed out 370k from the S&P and invested with a full service broker.. Until about 3years ago we were 100% in the s&p after over 30 years. I’m retiring at the end of the month at 59, while my wife will retire next year at 54. We currently have 5.7 million in out tex deferred savings.

Love this interview with King Randall, the story of what he learned from his stepdads is exactly why we don't need men telling other men to not date women with kids. You should not go into a relationship expecting extra perks for being a step dad. All husbands deserve respect all wives deserve respect how much respect you get is dependent on how good a partner you are. Going into any relationship with an entitled mindset is a recipe for disaster. Half of these men have children out of wedlock, why should they have special treatment for helping a situation they helped create. Treating your stepchild like a burden you should be worshipped for tolerating is terrible.

I aplaud you King Randall, thanks in your young age for giving me hope for this generation left. I agree that the focus should have been about the good you ere doing and the effort you was putting into it. Roland Martin ignored the point you was making and in reality breaking the government control over what we can and canot have. Teaching each other to band together and get it all done without waiting on the government. You truly are a King. Keep up the great work and don't stop. Seeing you in your young age revitalize my older spirit giving me hope to believe and witness the chains being broken through the work you are doing.

Loved the convo. Keeping a cell phone away from a 17 year old is absolutely hard. When I was in university those that came from REALLY STRICT homes happened to be the kids that overdosed on drugs, over indulge with sex, etc because of that lack of exposure.

Thank you for this interview! what I came out with is that instead of having guilt complex that only make us hide away in our feeling of helplessness and shame about the social psychological situation in our communities, this young man should only make us feel the fire on our butts to jump up and go out and do something even if only a small donation of our time or money because what King Randal is doing is desperately needed all over the world. Yes no doubt the spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King is in this young beautiful young man. I am so proud of him!

I’m 23 and just had my first child ..my daughter 💘 it’s not the best situation dealing with her mom but I’m doing my best to be a father and she won’t let me near her .. Sometimes i question do I deserve her ..I’m doing my best but her mom think it’s not enough.. I wish I made better choices because I feel a lot of this is where and how I was raised . Vision is import at the core of all of what he’s talking about. He had a vision first. So let’s give credit to his ambition and vision. “Do for self” is possible for any child to do something great and foster a desirable outcome. But you first have to teach kids how to have a vision then order their vision
with a concept and strategy. You can toot your own horn and talk about what you’ve accomplished but everybody can’t get there like you or may not want to do what you’re doing. Mental reality starts or changes by learning and applying the behaviors and concepts you learn. So I believe teaching vision and how to execute on that vision is the model.
