Once upon a time, only the richest and most accomplished had access to email, cell phone, and text. Now only the richest and most accomplished have FREEDOM from email, cell phone, and text.
Wow, the Chuck Norris of company starters/chairmans! Sure that's been said before though. Not just the beard and look, but the take no crap and use personal common sense! And agree with Splinks' comment, a great interviewer too, so these two really do have a comfortable chat the way it's supposed to be!
What does it matter he's already got Billions, he can do whatever he wants, send hand-written letters by horse and carriage if he wants, he'll still be a Billionaire.
My reason why I’m against email and phone is because I got hacked. Can you open a bank account or credit cards without without email or phone? My phone number and email is on dark web and cell phone companies do no disclose that to consumers.
I don't agree with that sweet talking mouth. Email is a wonderful way to communicate; in order to avoid incoming overflow , just give the Email address to a very limited group of people: that's it.
This boils down to one thing and that is he doesn’t use email or computers because he’s not the one running his companies he’s simply the person reaping the benefits of those smart hard workers who are! And this is perfect example of how our naked chrony capitalism create situations where your success is determined by your wealth going in not by “hard work” or “intelligence”.
Lols... I find it weird for someone who will ask 15k to someone just because they know a person is doing a philanthropist... Or maybe I haven't seen the larger picture that perhaps because those asking for it are for the good of the many and not for personal gain... Otherwise that's laziness... Hehehe
"Pay attention to the vital few and ignore the trivia of many". That is so smart. I loved how he said that.
AKA "I don't care how the hot dogs made".
"Pay attention to the vital few and ignore the trivial many"
I even got a boner!))
We are the trivial many adding bits to his fortune heh heh heh.

I am becoming more and more of a big fan of John Paul DeJoria. Wonderful entrepreneur. Wonderful person.
Merry him then guys a mafia boss
Once upon a time, only the richest and most accomplished had access to email, cell phone, and text. Now only the richest and most accomplished have FREEDOM from email, cell phone, and text.
I can honestly say that this is one damn good interviewer.
I really hope Inc. makes this guy a spokesman or give him at the very least a raise
Hes a owner of a company he probably doenst make money doing this interviews but their really good
Both the interviewer and John Paul Dejoria seems like good guys!
you have a cute doggie profile pic there :3
Such a silky smooth talker this man is -- I can see why he got to the top
from absolutely nothing. Not many genuine salesman like him anymore.
Its called discipline.
he has such a way of speaking, fantastic
The common thing with rich people is that they dont bring people down like most people in the comment section, they uplift them.

u made me laugh thank you!
Totally agree I hate email I'd rather call this way you can get your message across clear and concise .
He can get away with no email since he's already on top. If he was just starting, he would be using email. That said, a phone call is better.
+juan diegas
I agree
When John Paul DeJoria started, I believe email did not exist yet ;-)
if he was starting today however.....
there was no email when he was just starting
juan diegas JP Dejoria probably has 100 personal assistants do that for him
He is so nice too. He met my mom in a beauty show and He was gabbing away totally sweet, he gave her shampoo.
It's disgusting that so many people contact him and just ask for a bunch of money. Deadbeats.
@Mr. 8-Bit Doggo johndoe@gmail.com
Can someone tell me what he says at 3:48 Sounds like, "Ice and Intel make those decisions" :/
mhhmm.... yeah... sure... Do you guys see the pattern? They listen clearly, intently and have great presence of mind
From homeless to a billionaire, great mind is the key
I think many successful people don't have Facebook etc. and have discipline. Mathematically it is all about time.
good interviewer
Would you really need an email if you're the boss? Of course not.
Basically. Secretaries and Executive Assts for that...
What does it matter he's already got Billions, he can do whatever he wants, send hand-written letters by horse and carriage if he wants, he'll still be a Billionaire.
As with ALL information and advise, does it make sense to your "gut", NOT your mind. There is one on size fits all for anything.
i guess he never heard of the concept of only giving your email out to a select few people.
How old is this guy? Even my grandpa enjoys using computers. My grandpa enjoys it more than just about anybody his age.
Good man ,,
My reason why I’m against email and phone is because I got hacked. Can you open a bank account or credit cards without without email or phone? My phone number and email is on dark web and cell phone companies do no disclose that to consumers.
"Because I am older than The Mummy."
What's with the boots ?
pay attention to the vital few, ignore the trivia many. :)
Warren Buffett has also never owned a computer.
Wow
Interesting........
he would be an amazing president he has my vote
No computer means he's not aware of the Internet. Wow. But hey, at least he's almost got a full head of hair.
You apparently didn't listen to the video..........
Yo, JP, gis a quid, mate. Go on.
This is like watching a documentary about retardation.
I don't agree with that sweet talking mouth. Email is a wonderful way to communicate; in order to avoid incoming overflow , just give the Email address to a very limited group of people: that's it.
Roger Faraud you know what spamming is right? lots of email get infected with spams. texts and phone calls are better
rubbish. Its far easier to shoot off a pointless email, picking up the phone and saying the same thing you quickly realise its not worth saying
I only give my email address to people who want to deposit millions of dollars into my account.
I'm with him!!!!
That's because you're an old billionaire who doesn't need to worry about anything
Did he mean trivial many?
Had nothing to comment but I had to change the comments from 69 to 70
