Dang, I just like em because of the lore. Well, Morathi lore. They are pretty much female World Eaters from 40k, which I main. Was originally gonna makes a Slaaneshi army for sigmar, like I was going to in 40k (I’m a dirty pleasure seeker), but I did some more research into the lore and fell in love with those rage filled Murder Queens(/kings in 40k) instead. Them being hot is just a bonus
This was my second army and they are by far my favorite. Morathi is the perfect example of a model that sells an army, aside from the lore which came later for me.
Hello, Daughters of Khane are my favorite faction, period. Thank you for making an episode on em cause they are going to be my first army. This is dumb but this brought me happiness. You are a great creator
Hopefully they at least do the major overhaul the book sorely needs. If they release basically the same book with a few small updates again it's time to start rioting.
Straight down the middle I would say. There are harder armies that are more complicated but easier as well. The army's not very defensive so you can be punished pretty hard for misplays or poor positioning. Morathi however is super fun to play and provides you a little slack because she just can't be killed immediately. They also can be expensive if you want to run lots of witch elves or sisters of slaughter, I recommend scanning eBay or reseller websites (depending where you are) if you want to stock up on infantry.
Man I wish they did it better in total war!! Morathi is still simply a dark elf lord and an all girl army is still lacking the versatility to be more than a meme. One has to go to Alarielle instead since she has elite archers in the sisters of avalorne but shes just a fancy hippy and does not compare to our beloved, majestic, dommy-mommie Morathi. Daughters of Khaine as another faction with a bit of unit overlap would make my depraved soul so happy.
