Jim C dunno. I’ve been cutting it on a flat bench for 35 years with a t square and a manual cutter. No gloves. No goggles. Never cut myself either. Stay safe out there. It’s a dangerous old world 👍🏼 You’ll tend to stick with what you were originally shown how to do it. If it works for you it works for you
Jim C well IDK. I did it for 29 years without one cut. So obviously what i was doing worked. We recently closed for good on May 31st. I should have bought the glass cutter from my boss. I would have hung it in my basement. 👍🏼. The dumb ass kid i work with decided to carry 3 pieces of glass without gloves and he had already been doing the job for over 10 years and we all know glass is slippery. You cant carry more than two pieces unless there is paper in between. Sure enough the middle piece slipped out and sliced both his palms. He's 28 and still lives with mommy and daddy, works part time and plays video games.
Been cutting glass like this for 26 years and never wore gloves and never wore glasses. Never cut myself.
