I like the large heads. They're Anime-ish. Not everyone likes realism. There's already dolls out there with normal looking heads and bodies. I like the cartoony anime aesthetic. Growing up all my dolls were normal looking plain af dolls. I remember wishing they looked different and colorful. I remember the 1st time i saw a knock off dollar store barbie with blue hair i lost my mind as a kiddo. I'd been coloring my dolls' hairs on my own trying to get something different already so seeing one pre-made was so cool.
Seeing how colorful and varied dolls have become is so amazing. I would have gone nuts collecting these had they come out in the 80s/90s!

These dolls are beautiful and so detailed. Another great doll line by MGA 😍
However, I do wish the boxes were smaller as items inside don't take up too much space and it would have been better for the environment
I wish they made them more racially diverse. The only dark skinned doll isn’t even that dark and that makes me kinda sad especially since rainbow high is about diversity. I’d also love to see an Asian doll from the, since we don’t see many Asian dolls other than the new Barbie line

JayJay Heinz but when it’s really cartoonish, it’s kinda hard to tell the race tho... u could say that’s a black girl, but some may also think that’s a dark tanned white girl, like the animations, hard to tell races when the eyes and lips are super cartoon unrealistic style, but ya, representation of different race are important, especially for toys, they impact kids’ value
Wish there was more diversity in the dolls except the one “tan” one (personally shes not very diverse from the rest) otherwise the clothing and such looks great
Tbh I would say that's definitely kind of odd. From MGA. L. O. L omg dolls, their first wave were all dolls of color so, I think they would definitely add more adversity later on.

I really love these dolls. Their fashion, their hair, their makeup EVERYTHING! I also really like the pearly skin, I think it makes them look dewy and fresh (especially since skincare is a huge thing now)

These are wonderful dolls but the lack of diversity really upsets me. Coming from MGA I would expect to see more since they also manufactured Bratz and the Lol surprise dolls.

I saw these dolls on Chad Alan's channel (different colors purple, green and blue) and figured I had to have them. They are very lovely. I love that they are articulated.

When you took off Ruby’s hat to reveal that hat hair and that big hole I literally said “Noooooo!!!” Out loud. I’d love to see an unboxing for the rest of the line. Also I’d love to see a room craft with that cool clear case they came in!
Generally semi gloss or pearly finishes on a face makes me subconciously think the face is sweaty....
Just remember that Mr Super Clear is highly toxic so you should research getting a proper mask that will protect you from breathing it in (regular face masks are not heavy duty enough) and to spray in a well-ventilated location.
@ Yiu'd have to somehow avoid the eyes and eyelashes though. As a bjd owner, I know that at least, and it's not easy ^^

I have my first one Ruby and I love her I'm still looking for Jade nshe's really hard to find but this is bringing back fashion dolls from the monster high time and I'm happy to see the stuff again. Especially since I'm not into things like lol it's so much waste and if I'm spending that kind of money I want quality and I want to know what I'm getting.
Great review, the dolls are cute and some clothes are really well made. I agree with the criticism of their short torsos. That is what keeps me from getting mga dolls.
I really like Sunny and Poppy. Jade's design is weaker than the rest, she needs more shades of green. I also think they should have made more facemolds, they look almost like the same character in different colors.
I usually don't like these new doll lines, but this one I would actually buy. I love the details especially that rainbow belt!!😍 I love they have articulation. And Sunny's fashion is on point for a woman of color. All in all.. I'm digging this doll line.

i am 50/50 on these dolls. i would have love to see a diversity of different face molds and body portions. they all looked pretty much the same with the same face sculpt.

- I would say I wish they had more range in motion in the head
- I wish there was more facial expressions/molds
- We get! We get it! It's rainbow dolls. They don't need to put the logo on everything.
- Also their clothes kinda look too similar we are getting a pattern of the same clothing style

this brand lacks so much diversity in skin tones,,, and with a name like rainbow high it would be fantastic to see some lgbt+ representation to encourage the normalization of lgbt identities amongst children, what about the dark skinned black kids? why don’t they get a doll?
