Having the fabric joining the pages is a great idea for strength and providing a more flexible space for ephemera. It's aesthetically appealing too. Grungy journals have so much character.❤
Oh Barbara, i already love this one. Can't wait to see it created. TFS
It’s all coming together stunningly.
I watched this whole series from start to finish and It was incredible, so inspiring but also so helpful. Thank you so much for sharing with us, I’ve learned so much and will definitely have a go at this. I’ll pop back and comment on all the other videos. Hugs Mandy ❤❤
Love how you are using that gorgeous fabric! Also love how vintage your ephemera is.
Barbara, I am really enjoying watching the process and, as always, looking forward to the next videos!
Barbara, I'm so excited about this new journal. I can't wait to see the next episode. 😊
I will definitely try this technique in the future. Love the variety of fabrics between pages. Can’t wait for next chapter❤
Hello 🌹🌹Jola
how are you doing?
I am staying tuned for the next part for sure, so interesting, will make a similar journal for sure.
Enjoyed watching video about Vintage Junk Journal ..Signatures Base part 4. Looks cool so far. Thanks for sharing. 👍🏻👍🏻
Love mixing the fabric and the paper for double pages
Barbara, love this technique with the fabric. You have such cool ephemera! TFS! ❤
That is very cool. Something new I'll have to try! Thank you Barbara 🥰
This will be such a special journal once it is done sweetie ❤ it's so nice to see it come to life bit by bit. ❤
I like the idea of a fabric spine. It can be used for any theme. This ought to be interesting! TFS🤗
Love the way the pages look. So interesting.
Just beautiful, beautiful !!!!!!!!!❤
Gorgeous eco dyed papers!!❤
Hi Barbara, great to see you, and I love this new journal so much already. The pages/signatures are looking superb. I can't wait to see your next video. I truly LOVE your beautiful journals, they are unique, unusual and I love grunge. I really love quirky journals, and although I'm nowhere near as arty as you, you always give me great ideas. Take care sweetie, and have a brilliant week. Val, from the UK. xx❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you so much! ❤️
I’m loving the look of this!

Love the journey of this journal
Beautiful material and pages!❤
Learned some things with this video! Yay!
So good! This series is lots of fun.
Different. Looking forward to next session!❤
I love this technic..with the frabric
Love this process. Thanks so much for sharing. ❤
Love watching you work...Your ideas are so inspirational! For example, I do not have "vintage file folders," but I have kraft cardstock and never thought to make a tab using my envelope punch-board...And using fabric to create signatures?! Keeps me from having to tragically fold vintage ephemera in half for my signatures!😆Well done! Thanks for sharing your creative ideas! Happy crafting!💜
So happy this was helpful! 😃❤️
PS - I love to make a dangle using the colored circles on the selvage edge by gluing a skinny strip to cardstock (and fabric on the back). Looks so cute with some frayed edges on it combined with other charms.
Love the fabrics ❤
Beautiful and inspiring project, I think I will try it myself as well! Thank you🍀💖Machteld
Very interesting journal!!😮
Incredible tutorial❣ Thank you so much!!! ♥♥♥
love this, looking forward to seeing what you choose to go with x
Hello! I am sharing an idea on several well known channels. Use finger cots when distressing items to keep your fingers from being stained.
It is awsome 😍😎 must order fabrics 😍 Thanks for sharing great tips 🙏lots of love from arctic Norrway 🙌🍁🍀🌹🌻
Barbara: looking good. Great looking pages and ephemera. Is there such a thing as organized grunge? Haha,- love your system. Carol from California
Looking great! ❤
LOVE watching this journal come together! I found some Tim Bolts fabric scraps on etsy. Can't wait to try this. TFS! Hugs from Midwest USA!
Wonderful! Have fun! 😃❤️
Looks already so yummy 🤩🤩🤩
Hi Barbara, I’ve been away for awhile, but I just saw Natasa from TreasureBooks stitch the tears in a page (thicker paper required) for an added bit of texture, interest and grunge.
I have to try putting pages together with fabric, I usually do ppaper hinges. Thank you for sharing Barbara. I 🙂❤️
Looking good!!
Definitely trying this
Lol I only use my punch board for tag tops 🙊🙈🙊 I will have to do this too. So many cool options to try! I enjoy printing on fabric but worried the glue with make it smudge, maybe interfacing and sewing 🤔. I just love that blue 😍. Oh, maybe smudging would look grungy and cool! I absolutely love how this is looking, also very inspirational and useful 🤗. Looking forward to the rest. Tfs and have a great day 💖💖💖
Thanks! I never thought of using the punch board for tags! Genius, thank you! ❤️
Love it
Fabulous as usual with your videos! Your fabrics are amazing and perfect for your journal. This info is very helpful! I wonder what you decide will be the best answer to how many sigs and pages. I will stay tuned :)
Starting out with some cool papers and materials...Can't wait to see what you do with this journal...I'm sure it will be spectacular..................😻
I say make one more and make it 2 signatures, 4 pages each. 😊
Cool
❤❤❤

Hello 🌹🌹Darcys
how are you doing?
🥰

❤❤❤❤🇺🇸
What glue are you using if you don’t mind me asking? So pretty
Thanks. It depends. If I glue to fabric, I use textile glue, otherwise usually Art Glitter glue.
Barbara! Question....I'm following along and crafting this journal along with you! I purchased this digital kit, and printed them at 80% like you said you did in the first or second part. Will we be using those digital pages in this journal eventually?
Yes, I will! Hang in there 😃❤️
Hanging on here girl! LOL@@49dragonflies
ahhhhhhh I thought of you Mary when I started watching this series I haven't started yet but geez lousy I'm excited (corriespapertrail)
Sweety hi… not sure who told you the word ‘ height ‘ has a pronounced ‘ th ‘ at the end. It doesn’t. Otherwise everything is fine… considering that we are in Jlem, staff in Gaza, and Egypt is again in between holding a key…
