i can understand playing top line, it's just when I tested them I started top, and switched bot line and haven't switched back because that's a dollar or 15k silver and I've made some poor gambling decisions. I think both lines are fine, doesn't really matter tbh to me as long as you hit your buttons right and hero play. Chubbybelly made a good point about CBR banning phalanx often and having bonus pierce defense is kind of irrelevant. Pen is nice top like but you're not dealing much damage with xv vs reapers and stuff. Mostly the OP bleeds doing heavy lifting. That's why in the video I make it a point that I think both lines are fine. I find it's easier to get big leadership value games with bot line and tank doctrines because they just survive more and you can abuse the broken prayer.
the reason the x v working is the fact that the ai of this unit is dumb af that u need manual instructions to work properly xD

nerf didn't really touch the broken part of the kit, the bleed. Still one of the best infantry in the game.
