Slay4Revenge, probably got the kollection edition after the game was finished.
Smoke was my 2nd main in mkx. Reptile ended up as my main after mileena was nerfed but I started with raiden. His damage scaling on thunder god was rough (32 hits for 18-21% damage).
Man I swear I Do NOT remember MKX being this fast paced... it’s been so long for me now it looks like a formula one race

I hate that smoke has crazy mixups and sector is literally safe on everything.
And then Cyrax is one of, if not *the* flashiest variation. Triborg sounds insane on paper, I'm surprised he even made it in the game.

Caleb Wany agree. I just figured out he doesn’t have literally any special moves that save or can’t be interrupted. EX airdash is the only relatively save special (in a few cases)

I haven't played Mortal Kombat since Spawn came out and before that since a few weeks after release of mk11. I came across you after a very long time and now I have reinstalled both games.

Smoke is siiick. Cool thing is after you throw the smoke ball to summon the enemy you can even grab him while he falls fom the sky it always connects

Ah good old mkx. The only fighting game where you couldn't do anything brain dead. Where skill would determine the victor. Glad this is coming to next gen
You ever played MKX? It's broken. The entire game revolves around 50/50s and forcing your opponent to guess correctly or they lose a third of their health bar. MK11 is far more balanced.

MK11 is extremely balanced. The only character that's really any better than the others is Geras. He's about the only braindead character in the game. You wanna talk braindead? Characters having 30+ percent combos using 0-1 bars of meter. MKX is full of nothing but broken characters. If you want anything close to 30% on MK11 you have to either land a KB combo, FB combo, or use both bars of your meter. Game is both better, and far more balanced.
@@RappingRain you probably sucked at mkx. You're one of the few people who prefer 11 over X. FYI I'm good at 11 and good at X. I get what they where tryna do with 11,tryna make it slow paced and more grounded and zoning heavy but that's just not mortal kombat meta. Y'all can stay there and get zoned midscreen with jade all you want. I'm going back to X on ps5 launch.

I am 43 years old been playing mk since the original arcade cabinet and can’t imagine how anyone can get this good love watching supers videos and I can’t tell much difference in his play and like ninja killa and sonic foxes but there is a gap between them isn’t there

As a triborg main, I gotta say sektor is better. Much safer on everything, insane advancing mids, and a god tier armoured move. Even sonicfox has said sektor is much better, but smoke is still top 3
I agree. Sektor is allowed to do basically anything. Zoning, anti-zoning, teleporting, mixups that can even lead to a vortex, insane mids as you mentioned... Sektor can do everything. Although one of his moves was actually not that hard to punish but I do not remember what was that move
But yea Smoke may be a vortex machine, not everything he does is safe and that is one of biggest Smoke's issues in my opinion

The most broken characters in mkx are cancels character. Because even if you read it, they are still plus. Smoke is just a loop guy... so was Quan Chi. Its annoying for sure, but not broken. The most broken character is liu kang for sure. Followed by all the cancels characters.

He plays and talks at the same time for most videos. If he doesn't he mentions it early on that his recorded audio is voice over, but that has been on very few videos
Yeah they probably wanted to a v o i d that type of thing in mk11. took away the ability to zero to death someone.
There was a HUGE skill gap in this game and that's why it will always be a better game than MK11. You could litteraly mix and punish people to dead if they didnt guess right, weren't patient or had no meter. In MK11 you can beat someone with a insane record by 'playing by the rules' and lose next game to a absolute noob because of the terrible anti air that doesnt connent, fake footies and meter that comes back within 10 secondes. MK11 is build to please casuals and thats why a lot of pros are al ready done with it. It became repetitive and boring so fast.
Basically X is more of planning, rushdown,always think on your feet always make sure to gain meter and 11 because it's not challenging enough? You really like getting pressured and mix and always have to think mid match?
If a noob can’t beat Ninjakilla, or SonicFox your “playing by the rules” casual beating experienced players statement falls flat instantly. It’s a weird argument because the pro players always beat the lesser ones, it’s possible that you just aren’t as good as you think you are no offense. NK isn’t losing to some random scrub throw loop on MK11. If for some reason NK or sonic fox doesn’t count, then your whole comment about “better players” is being very selective. If the pro players hold consistency, then that means any good player should be able to.

Dexter Bullock there’s always exceptions to the rule for instance sikander555 loses to shit players all the time but my only gripe with mk11 is when the person is plays like shit but still wins it’s always do to there fucking ping mk11 has a huge ping problem

Pre patch yes but most of aliens stuff for combos is really punishable still easily top 5. Honestly everyone forgets pre patch cyrax in this game that was overpowered you could literally do a bomb net low overhead unlockable vortex.

smoke, alien are definitely broken, but unlike all the characters in mk11, they need practice. NRS stopped balancing on mk11 as they did on mkx.
