Drive 1.4L Turbo petrol and give ur review... You won't feel power lag... Because I'm having Seltos Turbo petrol... Simply a fun to drive car and high performance.. Can easily overtake in highway and didn't felt power lag while driving in hill Station..

I test drove 1.4.petrol...still I feel the power is linear same like 1.5 diesal. So no difference bw both!
@@BraneshRv How can you say 1.5L diesel engine of 115bhp and 1.4L Turbo engine of 140bhp is same? Ertiga offers 1.5L petrol engine even more lower bhp of 103 bhp from Maruti.. But Ertiga is the best selling car in 7 seater segment.. Likewise Carens comes to give tough to Ertiga and Morazzo

Hello folks. Need some help regarding the purchase of my car. As of now, I have zeroed in on the i20 in sportz trim.
I have already Test driven the 1.2 petrol. Coming from a much smaller car (GM Spark) i have no reason to complain.
However, have come across numerous posts about the poor fuel efficiency and the underpowered nature of 1.2 kappa engine. This has left me bothered.
My usage isn't much. Would clock around 10k km annually. But half of it would be Highway runs.
Not getting the best of both worlds is an area of concern. Add ever rising fuel prices to this.
Yes, my running is low. Doesn't warrant a diesel.
But considering the overall fuel efficiency, 50 percent highway runs & the fact that i intend to keep the car long term, does it make any sense to opt for the 1.5 diesel at additional cost ?
Or am i still better off with 1.2 petrol?

Good. Go for the diesel. You'll appreciate the torquey nature of the car under full load when climbing hills and overtakes on highways.
Driving in highways frequently will also eliminate the chance of DPF clogging due to soot.
Fuel efficiency will also be higher. You'll have less heart aches when refuelling.
Not sure of the safety of the Hyundai cars though. If safety is the top priority, consider the Altroz 1.5 Diesel as well.

The pricing is a scam by Kia Motors. No point in trying to do the comparison by including them in the mix. The base variant is not available. They will tell you that it is available after 1 year only. This is true at Bangalore and Chennai. I am sure the situation is same all over India. They need to be reported to the consumer courts for action. There is no car available for delivery with the introductory price of 8.99 lakhs. It is misleading the customer and generates a lot of free press, and primarily designed to attract walk-ins. They just force you to go for the higher priced models. Will the consumer courts prevent them from printing ads which are not true?? It is just a pricing tactic designed to cheat the customer. Does the base model even exist. It is probably only on paper.....
