Oh my goodness Helen. I so enjoyed sitting down tonight to watch your flip through. Although I remember seeing most of the pages before in individual posts , to see them all together in the flip through is just amazing. I didn’t want it to end. So many different styles, mediums, so many beautiful points of interest. Truly captivating and inspiring. Thank you for sharing 🫶🏼
@@journal_with_lor That’s so lovely of you to say Lori, thank you so much for your kind words 🥰 I really enjoyed creating in this journal, despite my difficulties with the paper. It feels like a real record of my hopes, dreams and big changes ❤️
Your journal is VERY inspiring. I love to be creative but don’t feel like I’m a great artist. Your pages have given me some great ideas of things I KNOW I could do. Thank you for sharing.
This is a joy to watch (and read, the chosen quotes are thought-provoking). I am drawn to the grungy collage effects, and then went back through the video trying to pick out favourites of favourites; 20th May, 9th June, 23rd June, 2nd August (Heilan' coo!) 12th August, 26th August, the Stay Curious page ❣and then I decided I just loved all of it :D And the TATB Saffiya trousers!! I have a few TATB patterns. Thank you for sharing x
@@audrich8343 That’s so lovely of you to say, thank you Aud. TATB patterns are fab aren’t they, so pleased to have documented my first make in my journal. Thank you so much for watching and your lovely words 🥰x
Just so lovely. Beautiful art and thought provoking sentiments. Reading some of your messages so warm my heart and help me to focus on what really matters. Thank you for sharing ❤️
What a lovely juicy journal, Helen. Just "met" you in Sketchbook Revival and enjoyed your session. I love this size of journal. I used to use the Moleskine purple one with the blank pages that are thicker. I might have to go back to that. It was quite forgiving for watercolors. - Barbara
@@barbclark69 Thank you so much for watching and being here Barbara. I definitely struggled with the paper in this but will be using a Flexbook next time which is the same size with thinner paper, but somehow works fine for watercolour ❤️
Hello 🤗 Helen 🌹 Thank you for sharing your Very Big Journal Your pages are so Creative and I Love your Drawings too Hope you have a Wonderful Weekend ☺️🌹💌🖌️🎨📚🦄🤗🩷🩷
Hi Helen! Your journals are stunningly beautiful. If I could discover my style, I'd hope it be similar to yours. I am pleased with the art I create in my journal but I don't write in them other than short phrases or quotes that speak to me. I just don't seem to have anything to say! What do you write about? Where do you find topics? How to you know how much space to leave for writing? Do you preplan the art part with words in mind? I create more spontaneously rather than planned. In my few attempts to write I stress over filling the space I left, and not having enough space if I become inspired. It seems there is a wall between me and writing. Many say to write about what you feel; if I did that I'd be writing about not having anything to write about. Your insight would be so helpful.
@@afifthsparrow Thank you very much, I’m so pleased you enjoyed it. I get asked about what to write about a lot so I share journal prompts on Patreon each month and also have some blog posts on this topic. If I run out of writing space then I turn the page to continue my thoughts and add decorative elements later, otherwise I decorate in advance. I hope that helps ❤️
