Hi, first of all, great work. Your products look awesome! I´m currently planning a home cockpit with 3x 50 inch TVs and your products are my choice for the Panel! Got two questions. What is the total width of the two parts together and do you ship to germany?
The combined width of both panels is exactly one meter. Yes, we ship to Germany using FedEx International Economy service. The cost of shipping one side is about $85 and for both sides is around $130 USD. Transport time is about 1 week.
@@ronsartore7160 Thanks for your answer. 1 m fits perfectly as I will be using the 50s. I will contact you when I made a decision for the instrument cutouts on the right side.
@@LH43292Heavy Well established that 3 x 55" is the sweet spot for triple monitor set up. See Russ Barlow's channel. The Altimeter Motives panel and 23.8" monitor sits in front of the center TV Screen. The instrument panel displayed by X-Plane or MSFS is covered 1 to 1 by your Altimeter Motives panel. I recommend Hisense 55U8K (2023) or Hisense 55U8N (2024).
@@ronsartore7160 thank you for the quick reply. Do you have the same grey colored panel in stock? I would need the right side to house our Realsimgear 530 plus the transponder and Logitech autopilot and radio of that can be done.
@@Hyestar the gray material is in stock and cut to order. Provide your list to Ron at Altimeter Motives and I’ll send you a proposed layout. Fabrication usually takes 1-2 days. The right side mates to either the Gen2 steam left side or the Dual G5 left side.
Pretty much settled that the optimal size for triple screen flight sim is 3 x 55". Matches life size very closely. See Russ Barlow's channel for details. The Altimeter Motive panel is placed in front of the LED TVs using it own monitor stands. The Altimeter Motive panel nicely covers 1 to 1 the X-Plane or MSFS panel displayed by the simulator platform on the center 55" LED TV.
They are the same material; however the left side gets a clearcoat to protect its lettering. This grey color will show strikingly different shades based on the dominant light source's color temp. I had two identical panels next to each other, where one was directly underneath a halogen lamp, and the other in natural daylight - I swore they were two different colors, and I swapped them and they each reversed. Both sides are Acrycast (a brand of cast acrylic) in a color of grey they call HP504. You can see in the video at 6:25 that the left panel's left side is a strikingly different color than its very own right side (but it isn't).

If I buy the left and right side panels, does the width accurately represent the real panel in a C172? Thx
The combined width is exactly 1 meter (39.37 inches) and the same as a Cessna 172.
