Could you take us with you next time you thrift puzzles?? Kinda like a treasure hunt! It would be interesting to see what kind of puzzles you like and dislike.
The cabbage patch puzzle brought back so many memories! People were nuts! They were ao cute. So glad you picked up that one. The wood puzzles are almost irresistible once started. Yoy theift ao many plant puzzles. I might be a little green right now 🙂
I recieved two puzzles for Christmas from the Frank Lloyd Wright collection. I’ve completed one of them… it was SO MUCH FUN! I also now want the entire collection!!! 💕
Thanks for the shout out! East of the Sun West of the Moon is my number one most re-done puzzle in my collection. I've done it about 5 times now. I will say with Art & Fable - you either love or hate the texture and you do notice a looser fit in their larger piece counts. But this 500 piece is fabulous!
I love love love A&F East of the Sun West of the Moon. I've done it 3 times and I rarely ever redo puzzles. But there is something really special about that one. And similar to you buying the MB 80's puzzle, I did a Care Bears puzzle (not vintage; newer release from The Op aka USAopoly) - it was very fun!
cool new format! that zen chalet puzzle looks amazing! i look forward to hearing about your experience with the piecework puzzle. i haven't ever done one of those. and i love that you got the silly cabbage patch puzzle! the 80's were so weird, lol.
I really like this series! It's fun to get a glimpse of the more casual puzzles that don't rate an in-depth video. And I always enjoy seeing what puzzles youtubers are doing for fun vs for videos. This was great timing, I was working on my first Wentworth puzzle tonight and loving it. And it was a thrifted unopened still-in-the-plastic one that I found for $8! I almost died when I saw it. The image isn't very exciting but at 250 pieces who cares. It's been very fun so far.
Also… I love this puzzle app so far! I just added all the puzzles I have completed since Christmas and I’m really excited to track my progress this year!
Love this! I actually get a stack of puzzles from a friend of my husband this week! They are beautiful puzzles so that’s very exciting! 500, 1000 and 1500 I think.
In this single video you've mentioned so many brands I've never even heard of! Loved the intro. I just did my first 300 piece puzzle, Isis and Osiris by Pomegranate. Best quality puzzle I think I've ever done. And an image I wouldn't attempt at a higher piece count. (I puzzle for relaxation, not for a challenge.) Currently have my first Cobble Hill puzzle underway, Busy as a Bee, 500 pieces. It will be fun to see a video of the personalized puzzle you received for your birthday. That's a great picture. 😊
Hey, I’m Beckie from PEI Canada, I don’t normally comment but I wanted to say I am loving your channel! My favourite puzzle brand currently is: the magic puzzle co. The fit is loose but the cuts on every puzzle is so unique and they are so fun to do. if you can get one, you should totally jump on it. Anyway, take care Beckie
The Geometry Homework Puzzle looks pretty interesting. As I have some background knowledge on cutting materials and also die cutting, its always interesting to see how stuff gets made :) Waterjet cutting puzzles surely was never on my radar.
I have several of Frank Lloyd Wright's jigsaws from Galison and love them, but I must admit, that I'm even more of a Jonathan Adler fan. Lotz of his images on my wish-list 😉
I just got my first Piecework puzzle a couple of weeks ago from a local swap. Looking forward to doing it. Heard so much abt them. Definitely not main stream yet since I grabbed it in the free for all at the end of the swap. And I just borrowed an Art and Fable at the same swap!!! Another one I'm looking forward to doing. I've met the ppl from Micro Puzzles and they are terrific! I worked one of their puzzles and it was a lot of fun. They are small, which for my eyes arent great, but the images are so cute!
Well that was a very enjoyable video. 👍 Interesting to see all the different puzzles you have been doing in the last month. That Galison puzzle looks fantastic so I shall be looking for that one to do myself. Did you know that there is another one called Hoffman House Rug? Interesting pieces in that one! Wentworth are lovely puzzles but a tad expensive. I have quite a few of theirs but they now cost more than when I first started buying them. May I just correct Mark and say that Wentworth are based in Malmesbury in the county of Wiltshire which is in the West Country of the UK. London is on the East side of the UK. Look forward to your next video. 😊
Micro puzzles have some cute art- my biggest problem with them is they are allllll the same cut so I don't buy them anymore. On Amazon though there are test tube puzzles and they use different cuts, so much better!! Have you done a pintoo yet? Plastic puzzles are starting to catch on and I love that SNAP!!! Mini puzzles are a love for me- something I can do while watching puzzle content on YT!!
Flipsi is double sided and both sides are diff texture!! That helps a ton!! I agree wooden puzzles are too spendy most of the time. Are you someone who does a puzzle more than once? I feel like you need to do a puzzle more than once to invest like that!
That’s a good point, it makes more sense if you’re going to keep using it over and over. I will redo favorite puzzles, but usually not until a year or more has passed.
currently i’m working on a 1000 piece ravensburger called seaside sunshine. i’m wondering if it was a fluke or was just made in this size for walmart because i can’t find any record of it online. ravensburger sells this image as a 300 piece puzzle, and i believe used to sell it as a 500 piece. it has a 2022 copyright date on it, though, so…a nice image and fun, but getting into the difficult parts.
After watching more than one puzzler on YT i had the impression Ravensburger made high quality puzzles. The first one I've done was a big disappointment in terms of piece quality.
@@suebrown3194 I find some of them to be better quality than others, but I still like a lot of their images. I prefer Buffalo Games and White Mountain the most myself.
i am interested to hear @suebrown3194’s response as well. it was actually the seaside sunshine puzzle for me that was coming to mind. some of the pieces just didn’t seem to lay as flat as other ravensburger puzzles i have done. such things could just be a fluke, too. the very first buffalo games puzzle i ever did was terrible quality. so many false fits that i had issues taking apart, and around a dozen pieces had cardboard tearing completely up, ruining the pieces and the image. it was a brand new puzzle, too. but i have loved every one of their puzzles i’ve done since then, great quality. it’s one of many reasons i love them so much. so it could be the same with ravensburger? even good quality brands can have bad days
@@puzzlephile Sorry, I can't find the name of the puzzle. I've already donated it to our humane society thrift shop. It was a 500 piece puzzle, illustrations of the busts of purebred dogs. The pieces fit loosely and seemed thin. Lots of puzzle dust, more than any other new puzzle I've done recently. There wasn't as much contrast between backgrounds as I expected, which made the puzzle much more challenging for me. I got it done, but it wasn't the fun experience I was anticipating.

Love this idea! This would be fun to watch! 😊
Ooh yes this would be so fun!
Great idea! I already love following Resellers who take viewers to Thrift Stores and Antique Shops.
Love this idea!
It's a cool idea to make this series. Love it!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Oooh new series. Exciting ❤ feed us that puzzle content! 😀😅

Definitely saving that Cabbage Patch puzzle for a special occasion 😆
Omg that cabbage patch puzzle is awesome!,
I love it, I couldn’t help myself 😆
I completed the Ten Hundred last supper puzzle this week! It was an amazing puzzle. Great quality, soft touch and random cut. It is also double sided.
I’ve never heard of that brand, I’ll have to check them out 👍
@@puzzlephile they’re a big artist here on TH-cam! 😊

I LOVE Pomegranate, they might be my favorite brand all around
I love the puzzle tracker app
It’s perfect, so simple!
You will love Art and Fable! A few false fits sometimes, but a luxe brand.
I keep hearing great things!
Love this video!
Thank you!!
ha!! I was going to say that art and fable is Emilee's fav puzzle!! She's redone it many times!!

Tried one for the first time recently - the Mystic Maze - I LOVED it 👍👍👍

Galison puzzles are the best. Unfortunately, where I live, those have to be ordered online!

There is a slight gradient on the Piecework puzzle background so I didn't think it was that bad!
Good to know 👍👍
I want puzzle socks. Your intro doing puzzles everywhere was so cute. How many takes, did it take you, to puzzle on the bike?
Too many! 😆
Temu do wooding puzzle chep as well
