thank you very much Jay, for the question about the intoxication i guess t is not right! it says the the cervical neck collar is mandatory to be used in all the patients with these conditions but if you do not want to use it you have to make sure that all of the listed situation are absent. thank you again
Thank you Jay for your excellent guidance on how to prepare for OET ,I watched vedios on how to do each component. I got adequate grades in my first attempt with a very small preperation time. A huge appreciation to your wonderful work. Thank you! 😊
Hii sir.. It's literally well explained.. it's easy to find answer in a single paragraph.. But, If I search answer in 4 paragraph it's taking more time to get the answer..
Hey Jay! I need a clarification. In question no.5, I guess the question itself is wrong. Because the text says cervical collar must be used except in patients with NO intoxication, which means cervical collar must be used in patients with intoxication. Correct me if I am wrong. Btw, your videos are very helpful. Thank you!
I think you're right. The passage says in order not to use a collar, not only the patient mustn't be intoxicated but also he doesn't have pain, neurological symptoms, injury, etc. The question is somewhat very general and a bad one.
You're right, and furthermore, it's saying that you don't need to place a cervical collar, if the patient meets all of the following criteria. If the patient is intoxicated, it literally breaks that criteria, so a cervical collar MUST be used. The question and explanation was wrong in that case. The question should have read; When treating an Intoxicated patient, ____ must always be used. And the answer would have been a cervical collar.
if you see the question it says must never be used. This means intoxicated then no cervical collar. if no intoxicated than the cervical collar must be used
Dear Jay, Thank you so much for all the wonderful works you have been doing to help people like me to guide us through the OET exam. Since day 1 that I have to review my OET I have been watching and doing all the exercises you are teaching and with great pride I am so grateful to say I PASSED my exam 1st take and with a very high score that I have never expect! I am working full time at the same time while doing my review at a very short period of time before the exam so there's a lot of pressure around it! So my deepest and overwhelming gratitude to you and your whole team! May God bless you more for being so kind and helpful to all of us who are anxious to take the exam! I couldnt have done it without your help! Thank you so much! 🙏
Hii. I have one suggestion pls update reading tips in part A little bit tough questions bcoz now a days oet reading A part question is tough in real exam
I did a reading test online. My question is, I gave the answer as 'increased alcohol' whereas it shows the correct answer is 'alcohol'. Can you tell me if my answer will be considered as correct or not
Hey! Your videos are amazing!! I just started practicing for OET test. I have a small doubt. Should I be starting the answer to short questions with a capitalised word or as it is written in the text? Say 'A log roll technique...' or 'a log roll technique...' Thanks again for the time!
i thought the rule of thumb is to use "simple language, simple sentence, simple content" ...to communicate with the patients... these tests are not simple...???
Please can anyone tell me while solving reading part ,after reading all the parts will they take it from us and will give us the answer sheet only And second question if they will not take reading part and will have with us can we write on reading paper
