Im thinking about buying a ozone kite. Ozone subzero or the Explorer. Would you say that it is any negative sides with singel skin kites? Is it anything a singel skin cant do that a duel skin can?
Great review lot of my friends have Gin shaman v1 12m a it is the best low wind kite on Market. I spend few days with gin and my experience is very positive. I ride primarily ozone kites. The only little negative compared to other kites it does rides little less upwind . The 5th line release seems same as v1. It needs to release it the way u presented. However in some steep mountains I like to steer kite to specific place for landing a than release. Gin in such a case will fly up up an than land on leading edge. I haven't notice any difference v1 compared to v2. I would appretiate to know what's new. Compared to fs peak v4 this seems better.

The SHAMAN 2 is hence even more solid but remains feather-light! We have equipped the top bridles with grey lines to improve their visibility in the snow (before they where white) A discrete GIN logo in the centre of the leading edge helps you to rapidly identify the middle of the kite when folding, even in strong wind We have maintained the colour code of the different kite sizes and have complemented it by a beautiful bordeaux shade
