Ive been looking to buy a foldable keyboard for awhile now and as of late i had decided to do some research in to which was the best one; All my digging around showed that the Artciety Foldable Bluetooth Keyboard was, by far, the best one with all its current features. My goal is to use my foldable phone as my own portable laptop computer, to do that i wanted to combine it with a foldable keayboard and some smartglasses (like the Rokid MAX or an NREAL model). All i would have to do is pull out my smartglasses, pair that with my phone, and pull out one of these foldable keyboards and VIOLA!!! A minimalist Laptop computer with a gigantic screen from the glasses.

External USB keyboards and mouse used to work fine with my Samsung Galaxy S10+. Now the mouse still works via USB with its usual dongle, but keyboard is merely recognized by Android 12 but will not input keystrokes. Now and then if I press lots of keys I may pop up my Camera function or some other rather random thing will happen. When I go to enter text my on-screen Samsung keyboard doesn't pop up, indicating that my external USB keyboard is attached, but then I can't get the keyboard to enter text. Same problem with various bluetooth keyboards. They are recognized and identified by name correctly by Android 12 but will just not enter text. Nobody seems to know much about this problem, as all I keep getting is how I need the OTG connector and all that, but there should be a pretty SIMPLE fix to what used to work fine. I have tried USB debugging turned on and off, restarting and so forth. Tried an external keyboard APP and it did nothing to help.
Question: Can the usb-c cable be used to connect to a pc without using bluetooth? If not, do you know of foldable keyboard that supports this feature? Thank you for your review!
I bought this keyboard. Im having a hard time pressing the esc key though. It seems to be mapped to the home hotkey so everytime I press esc, it exits the ipad app. Does anyone know a fix for this?
