This is the updated version of the automatic parking lot. Watch it here:
• Arduino parking lot
The max capacity of the lot is 7 cars. It shows a message on the LCD screen when the max capacity is reached and the barrier no longer opens until some cars exit.
All of the computing work is done by an Arduino UNO as mentioned in the video.
The components and parts used for this project are:
An Arduino UNO microcontroller board
A 16x2 LCD display
A micro servo
2 IR proximity sensors(to detect the cars going in and coming out)
2 10k ohm resistors( as pull-down resistors for sensor's digital output)
A 10k ohm potentiometer(accurately, a preset to change the LCD display's contrast)
Some wires

I work in the same project but I want to connect 7 ultrasonic sensor for lots and 1 for gate and servo, WiFi adapter to arduino uno with only 13 pins how can do that?

Sir, I have made the connections as per your circuit diagram. However the servo motor works only sometimes. Also, the LCD panel shows no display. Could you check the circuit you have sent to me.

Will u make the same parking system with any microcontroller
Microcontrollers like PIC or even microprocessors like Raspberry Pi can be used to build the project. But since using an ATmega microcontroller(on the Arduino UNO board) is easy to program and is fairly easy to setup, it is recommended for beginners.

Using a sensor with digital output is better than one with analog output, making the code bit simpler.

I had not used an LDR but an IR-based proximity sensor to detect the cars going in and coming out.
ok?? sir,,there's no other way to used just ir only? because our propesor said that ldr were going to used it is possible to work?

You can check on Amazon, Ebay or, Aliexpress for IR proximity sensor.

can ultrasonic sensor can apply to this
It can be used but then the Arduino code will have to be altered. With the current code which I have used, only sensors like IR proximity or inputs like push buttons can be used.
I can send you the Arduino code, try experimenting with it by altering it to use with an ulrtasonic sensor.

One sensor is placed before the barrier which detects the incoming cars. The other one is placed after the barrier, just before the parking area which detects the outgoing cars.

I had used an IR proximity sensor but will recommend you to use an ultrasonic proximity sensor. Optical sensors can easily be triggered off by stray light sources and give false signals, on the other hand, acoustic sensors don't pose any problem while working even when exposed to light.
