If done properly, I see this being better than EA Rugby 08
Anything "done properly" has great potential. The problem is that there are not doing that properly and we don't see anything positive at the moment
I like your hopeful outlook, I just hope that they don't drop the ball (so to speak) as they have done in the past with games like Cricket 22 and 24, which aren't bad games, just not polished and still full of issues that never get resolved or get worse (I've been burned on this!). It still looks like a frustrating game to play, (at least not a tackle sim now!) but if the progression is good maybe there is good reason to feel hopeful. We need a rugby game that is enjoyable and has all licenses. The wait for now continues...
Definitely needs a few improvements.
Comparing it to where it started shows they are making great progress though.
Agree 100% on it not being tackle and hit up simulator anymore, set-plays would add more variation but you can at least pass out-wide and offloads now work great for some backline moves.
He's back in the game! Really nice to see the game from the viewpoit whos been away for 6 months to actually feel the progression theyve made, still a lot of negatvity around the game, but it can be hard to realise the improvments going from patch to patch compared to where the game was in EA1/2 up to EA6.

I haven’t had the time to really play recently. Coming back after a few months not on Rugby 25 has made it really easy to spot the improvements!

Yeah man. In that community section I talked about you can download player created Stadiums, Players, Logos, Kits and Teams. All custom made by the community.

Still needs a few more updates but has the foundation to become a great rugby game.
Their priorities are not in the right place. We don't want a stadium creator. We want good gameplay. Like how is it even possible that some penalties are not even added.
Crazy to me that Aussie developers haven't even added the Super Rugby competition or any Oceania/Pacific island competitions. Will definitely not be buying on console if they don't get added
Super Rugby teams are being added
