    Be careful when taking gifts from your clients, check with your employer's accepting gift policy, and read GDPR laws on invading privacy recording with or without consent of a Vulnerable client's home.

    Every job is easy or difficult depending on your mindset and, as in your case, Domiciliary carers are great jobs if you want it to be.
    Good luck on your path to a working class person, and I wish you all the best in the journey ahead👍 .

    I work as a Domiciliary carer, some ofbour route ends 9.30 while the other ends 8.30. Dom care isnt that bad and ill advise anyone who gets it to come in, work as you can and if you cant hold it then search for anothwr work and go. Wish you well precious and be positive thats exactky what we need working here in the Uk.

      God will bless you for this. I was about to advice her about it but then I saw your comment. It happened to a friend of mine in UK that was discussing with a colleague about the difficulties of the work. He told me he literally got sacked because they told him not to come again as it was agent work. He then knew it was that colleague that went and reveal their discussion.

    Who pays for the petrol, the employee or the employer? Also, the legal max hours to work in the UK is 48 hours. If you worked 16 hours in one day, that means you only work 3 days a week?
    Thank you for your content!

    • @Precious545
      @Precious545  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We use the company care, so they cover the cost of everything. If it’s your car you will have to pay. And no maximum hours as long as you are working with your company. But you are only allowed to work 20 hours outside of company.

    • @benfuller7910
      @benfuller7910 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      With Dom care, the company you work for should have you sign some form of exemption from the max working hours rule. Petrol wise for cars varies from company to company. For me, my company pays 30 pence per mile to cover fuel costs (which probably ain’t enough lol) and you have to log down the amount of miles you do. Which if it’s a long shift could easily rack up 30/40+ miles depending on whereabouts your from. Hope that helps :) @AndyGarcia82

    • @Precious545
      @Precious545  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      If you can drive you will enjoy it and also if you live close-by. I don’t live close-by that’s why it’s difficult for me. Sometimes, we get 2 hours break and you can go home and rest within the 2 hours. And we have other breaks in between like 30 mins , 1 hours and you can use it to pick your kids from school too.
