Dom care isnt that bad and ill advise anyone who gets it to come in, work as you can and if you cant hold it then search for anothwr work and go. We use the company care, so they cover the cost of everything. If it’s your car you will have to pay. And no maximum hours as long as you are working with your company. But you are only allowed to work 20 hours outside of company.
With Dom care, the company you work for should have you sign some form of exemption from the max working hours rule. Petrol wise for cars varies from company to company. For me, my company pays 30 pence per mile to cover fuel costs (which probably ain’t enough lol) and you have to log down the amount of miles you do. Which if it’s a long shift could easily rack up 30/40+ miles depending on whereabouts your from. Hope that helps :) @AndyGarcia82

If you can drive you will enjoy it and also if you live close-by. I don’t live close-by that’s why it’s difficult for me. Sometimes, we get 2 hours break and you can go home and rest within the 2 hours. And we have other breaks in between like 30 mins , 1 hours and you can use it to pick your kids from school too.
